Great deal. Doesn't seem to play MP4 but does play MKV. Good for that price.

EDIT: Some comments reckon that it plays MP4 as well, in which case this is a real bargain.

Brilliant! Have been looking for a new cinema system to go with my new projector! Cheers OP
Cant grumble at that price, considering sound bars alone cost the same...
This is a great system. I have one myself. Paid nearly double that amount. It plays anything.....MKV......MP4......GIF.....anything......,superb deal at this price.
I know nothing about 3D machines..Can I assume this also plays standard DVD/Blu-Rays??

really?? You've got a projector but you're only adding a £90 sound system?
How this can be classed as a "home cinema system" is beyond me.

Why not?
Its pretty much the generic term for bluray player and speakers!

I would be more than happy to consider your better value alternative. This system is normally £150+.
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to surround sound. If I have a film on a USB stick will it play in surround sound? If I have a film streaming through Ethernet will it play in surround sound? Or is it only surround sound through the blu Ray drive?

Yes if you have downloaded a 5.1 version

Just because the term "home cinema" would suggest it's like having a cinema at home, this system will most definitely not provide that experience.

I would just expect that someone with a projector wants a proper home cinema experience, a £90 system isn't providing you with that, even something at £150 won't come close.
Anyway of plugging up an mxq android box up to this? And still getting surround sound?
Missing bluetooth..
I am a bit of a noob too. Where do I place the speakers? Around the telly?

I often tend to find with Bluetooth connection watching movies the lip sync is often out.

It has one optical input for connection to your TV or directly to a games console,sky/ freeview box etc.

Cheer, was just going to ask that very same question. Many of the all in one systems don't include a digital input of any sort which always limits its use. I have a older Panasonic DVD system with an optical input so I would watch Blu Rays on my PS3.

Oh and those who say that this isn't a home cinema system are being just a little snobbish. Let's face it, if you haven't spent at least a grand on your sound system than you are in no position to look down at other options.

This wouldn't be recommended for someone serious about their audio, but if they just want an improvement on sound from their TV then this would be worth considering.

Not with my old Sony X1BT. wired ones are almost obsolete for home use.
Typical, all gone. Oh well no surround sound and 3d player for my man cave I never use. £89 saved from Black Friday.
