Not much difference in price over the BD570, but this has 3D playback and also still able to play MKV's by inbuilt wireless connection or external HDD formatted to NTFS so +4 gb no problems. Only file I can't play on my LG is ISO's

Key Features
3D Blu-ray Blu-ray BD-Live Wi-Fi and DLNA YouTube from LG Netcast Picasa from LG NetcastAccuWeather from LG NetcastMusic ID powered by Gracenotes1080P upscaling

Thanks to the latest software and HDMI 1.4 socket, the LG BX580 is able to playback 3D Blu-ray in full High Definition. Link to a 3D TV and home cinema receiver and you'll enjoy the truly remarkable, enveloping picture quality that 3D brings.

3D TV aside, this is an impressive Blu-ray player. With a 12-bit video DAC and Video Enhancement system, not to mention 1080p upscaling for your DVDs, the BX580 produces the kind of crisp detail and smooth motion that LG have become renowned for of late. The sound quality is powerful, dynamic and, like the picture quality, detailed, too.

With its standard Wi-Fi connection, the BX580 can be connected to your home network hub without the need for cables. From here you can stream content via DLNA or access LG NetCast. LG NetCast lets you browse selected sites such as YouTube, Picasa and Accu weather. A further advantage of the wireless connection is being able to access BD-Live features. BD Live lets you stream or download additional film material via the Internet. An unusual feature but great to have is the Music ID powered by Gracenote. Hit the Music ID button when playing a Blu-ray, DVD or CD and Gracenote will search the database to identify the title, artist and album.

Click check stock availabiilty to see if you have a store near you with stock

without checking, im guessing none

it could play iso's if you used poweriso or something to extract what's inside

Bit puzzled how this is a good deal, actually.

Im sure you could get the Sony one for under 100?

Under a £100 dream on

This is the equivalent of the Sony BDPS570 with inbuilt wireless, and good luck playing a +10gb mkv file on an NTFS formatted drive on the Sony

The main thing the Sony offers over the LG is the BBC Iplayer , Personally I prefer the easier media playing capabilities of the LG than having the ability to use BBC Iplayer. But each to there own
