C3 has that new screen tech, MLA or whatever. It looks cool, but at the same time there's always something better around the corner, and whither it's a C2 or a C3 they'll both be fantastic.

EDIT: Read the comment below. (edited)
That's incorrect. Only the G3 will have the MLA technology so couple that with the heatsink and Evo tech, the G3 should achieve 1500 nits in a 10% window.

Unfortunately, the C3 won't have any hardware improvements and the 20% improvement in brightness touted by LG on the C3 is merely through software and processing. I'd expect it to achieve 1100 nits peak in a 10% window.

In my opinion, if someone doesn't need/want the G series, I'd recommend the LG C2 for its price point because I simply don't believe the C3 will be worth the upgrade and wait. If anyone is actually only waiting for the C3, I'd tell them to look at the S90C. It will be similarly priced but expected to blow the C3 out of the water.

Thanks for listening to my TED talk.

Can get for 1088 at richer sounds at the mo plus 1.5% Quidco and an extra year warranty but this is cheapest just might go RS so can use PayPal credit!
Can you PP credit on Martin Dawes as well, also that extra year warranty isn't worth much as RS depreciate the TV over that time, by year 6 it's only worth 60% of its value so if its unrepairable you'll only get £600 back.
