LG’s C9 combines 4K HDR cinema screen design with advanced AI to further enhance both picture and sound. Perfect Colour on Perfect Black ensures real-world colour and contrast, while Dolby Atmos sound unites with Dolby Vision HDR for a cinematic experience. Use LG’s award-winning webOS Smart platform to stream shows from such apps as Netflix*, and navigate with the intuitive Magic Remote. With this Thinq AI TV you can interact by voice, with the Google Assistant and Alexa built in. Front-firing sound and a streamlined alpine stand mean its slim profile matches its spectacular visuals.

Impeccable 4K OLED Screen
Organic LED tech fuses with 4K resolution for superior contrast, colour and clarity. OLED pixels are self-lighting, meaning that they can switch on-and-off individually, for the deepest blacks and super-bright whites. Compared to regular LED screens, LG’s panel adds an extra white sub-pixel, delivering ultra-fine gradation and a true-to-life colour palette.

4K Cinema HDR with Dolby Vision
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model’s picture gets closer to real life. LG’s 4K Cinema HDR supports multiple HDR formats including Dolby Vision, Advanced HDR by Technicolor and HDR10 Pro.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 55” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail.

Perfect Colour on Perfect Black: thanks to the OLED screen’s self emitting pixels, colour representation is lifelike and wide-ranging, on a background of perfect blacks and rich detail, even in dark shades.

Alpha 9 Gen 2 Processor: Powered by advanced AI, LG’s intelligent processor delivers a premium OLED picture, optimising picture and sound, whatever you’re watching.

Dolby Atmos Sound: immersive Dolby Atmos places sound within three dimensions for an enveloping soundscape, with you at the centre. Coupled with Dolby Vision HDR, it’s a fully cinematic experience.

Thinq AI: bringing the intelligence and convenience of voice interaction to the living room, this Thinq AI TV can listen, think and respond to your questions.

4K High Frame Rate via HDMI : With full HDMI 2.1 compatibility, this LG TV can handle High Frame Rates for smoother motion, so even the most frantic sporting action is crisp and blur-free.

webOS Smart Platform
LG’s award-winning webOS platform revolutionises how you experience your entertainment. With simple and intuitive content discovery and switching, there’s more entertainment available than ever before. You can stream Sky Movies or Sports through NOW TV, 4K UHD content through Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, the latest movies and TV from Google Play and TalkTalk TV stores, and music from Spotify or YouTube.*

Advanced Voice Control & Smart Compatibility
This Thinq AI TV has the Google Assistant and Alexa built in, so you can get answers to questions while you’re watching TV. You can also control compatible smart devices, and check your Google photos or Google Calendar on the TV screen (Google sign-in required). It’s also compatible with Apple Airplay 2 and Homekit devices.

Freeview Play
This LG TV features Freeview Play. Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television, watching what you want, when you want, is now easier than ever. It’s free from subscription and is compatible with existing broadband services too. Services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5 are also available without having to open specific applications. This gives effortless scroll back so you never miss a second of your favourite shows.

Streamlined Design
The thin and light OLED screen exudes cutting edge elegance. Finished with a streamlined Alpine Stand, its architecture funnels the TV’s front-firing sound directly at the viewer and enhances the viewing experience.

Paid this price like 4 weeks ago. Still hot in my eyes
Amazing tv. Won’t regret it. I’m ready for ps5 with this
Great TV but this has been priced at 1199 or less over the last month. The gift card brings it in line with others but you have to spend it at John Lewis.

Fyi, richer sounds are matching the vouchers

You get better customer support and extra year of warranty with richer sounds.

No. They offer B9 C9 E9 W9 R9 in the order.
However the C9 and above all have the same display do its as good as it gets.
E9 has glass display and stand with better speakers, W9 has no stand and is mounted flat to the wall.

This year's models are now in the shops. BX CX GX. Basically b same as last year, but the GX has replaced E9 and W9.

The CX display is no better than the C9.

Hi. This is last years model, the CX is out now but general consensus seems to be to get the C9 while you can at a good price, as the updates between the C9 & CX are not (at the moment) worth the several £100’s difference, balance between spending more now to have the most up to date vs saving a bit or putting the difference toward a soundbar or something.
The C9 tends to fall to 1199 it seems every other day I would suggest waiting for that and price matching, then it works out to 1099 with the voucher.

At least thats what I did
