Hot, paid £250 for this a few months back, and dropped down quite a lot. Well worth it..

I bought the 23" one a few weeks ago. Fantastic monitor.
I wish I had waited.

DAMN YOU INTERNET.
3D works best on a large tv, unless you're sitting up close and personal.
As stupid as this may sound, will this TV work with 3D blu rays? I know that it converts 2D to 3D, but will it correctly display 3D sources?
Yeah it displays from 3d Sources, and it looks fantastic.
I was very impressed with everything I watched on mine, and you only have to be 1 meter away to not notice the faint lines on the screens.

Its also passive, which Im sure has been mentioned, and in my opinion is the better tech.
Hot from me. Great find.;)
Would of bought this if it was 32inch
I have this monitor and I'm reeeeeally tempted to get another one for dual monitor setup at this price.

Btw I can answer any questions on this TV/monitor if anyone has any

Do they come with the correct glasses now? (lots of reports a couple of months back of these 3d monitor/TVs being suppied with 3dTV glasses and not 3dMonitor glasses which have slightly different polarization)
I believe that this comes with two sets of glasses, but one set needs to be mounted to spectacles - Is this correct?

Where can reasonably priced compatible glasses be purchased from? Do they need to be LG glasses?

Mine came with "Cinema 3D" glasses which are the wrong ones (bought from Amazon, January 2012). The ones you need are "Monitor 3D" glasses.
I went on to LG's live chat on their website and said I'd been sent the wrong ones, the CSR said it was a known problem and asked me for a printscreen of my amazon order and the model number of the TV. Sent them to him via e-mail and a week later my monitor glasses turned up free of charge and I got to keep the old ones.

It comes with one normal pair and on clip on pair for people who already have glasses

Apparently cinema style glasses will work with this TV but I've not tested any yet

I got a standard pair, and a clip on pair, too.

The dog ate the clip on pair
Please ensure you get teh correct glasses, they are white with 3d monitor on the leg, if it say cinema 3d contact LG who are aware of the issue and they will dispatch the correct glasses. The issues with glasses is a worldwide error on LG's behalf in Korea & has been documented in several forums.

This TV/monitor is passable but please dont expect it to be great for fps games despite its 5ms refresh rate, setup your ps3 as a pc on teh hdmi1 1 as this will stop any input lag. Also if you play fps games on your pc please be aware its not great either hence me going back to my iiyama 27.

The 2d to 3d conversion is quite good & evena 3d bluray played via my ps3 was great even from a distance of 4 feet from the screen.

For this price and free delivery this is a greatbuy but its only really good as tv with teh ability of it being a monitor and nothing else tbh.
Was tempted at £250 last week

£200? Bought two!
Very tempted to buy this, but I'm not that savvy when it comes to televisions, and especially 3D, which has never really interested me until now.

I mainly want this for watching Blu-ray movies and gaming (PS3), but the comment about "input lag" has me slightly concerned. Obviously I don't want to be at a disadvantage when playing games such as Call of Duty, so is that something that is likely to happen with this TV?

Everything else about it sounds perfect for me! Heat added.
Ive been considering this tv for a while now to use with pc, ps3 and xbox, saw one in the flesh at pcworld and really liked it, they had it at £280 but wouldnt price match ebuyer at 249 I nearly bought it a few times, looked at it again this morning at 199 couldnt resist bought!

*edit* yet again I forgot about quidco!!! oh well would be about £3.33 so not the end of the world

*edit2* just got quidco purchase tracking email........ I did add it to my basket via quidco a week or so ago when I was humming and harring so it must have been stored in a cookie or something on my pc? Oh well happy days

Thanks OP, bought one.
I went ahead and ordered one with free delivery, so it will apparently be here next Friday. Hopefully they send them with the right 3D glasses now, but I'm not getting my hopes up... not looking forward to having to wait another week for replacement ones, although it sounds like the wait will be worth it in the end!

Thanks again to the OP and all who commented. I've gone months now without a working TV, so you made the decision to buy this one very easy for me.
Thanks Op - decided to get one of these.
Was going to buy this last week from Currys at £260, then found it slightly cheaper but I'm glad I waited now! Went to eBuyer for something else this morning and saw this on the front page, came here to post but obviously too slow
you can watch tv on this monitor and is it also good for gaming Preferbly better than a view sonic?
this is so hot i have the 23 inch which i bought 2 weeks ago its really amazing so this is even better great for gaming and films and the 2d to 3d is fantastic

I have one of these , great peice of kit , and an absolute steal at this price !!!!!!!!!!!

Yep mine came with wrong glasses (not that i could tell any difference) but went on live chat on LG`s website and they sent another pair no problem (couldnt tell any diffence from the original pair tbh)

Oh and Call of duty Black Ops in 3D ... Sweet
Does this work with a ps3 for 3d games ok?
this might sound a stupid question, but im planning on using this as a monitor for a pc, abit of gaming nothing extreme , but was looking at 3d in particular and wanted to buy a nvidia 3d set aswel but will this work well with this and is it worth it
@ Jonm191 nvidia 3d set requires a 120hz screen and I dont this is so no is probably your answer

*edit* after reading the thread posted below it seems it can be hacked to work with NV 3d need to look into that a bit more

Very. I read in a review that it has made it on to "who wants to be a millionaire".

Thanks for the links Ricco!
Oh dear. 3D crap. And 2D to 3D conversion is probably **** too.
I'm not so sure about the input lag issue. I've spent quite a few hours checking into it and have concluded that there is definately an issue with it especially when gaming. On that note I give it a miss but if you're not interested in any form of gaming then this could well be your bag!
for gods sake, damn this site.

Ordered for the bedroom.
