Considering getting one of these to use a a computer monitor, doesn't seem to be cheaper anywhere else?!

This is quite possibly the worst TV for use as a computer monitor due to it's unusual subpixel structure. Your best bet in LG's range is the UH630, although that's slightly smaller at 40"

Odd, price seems to have increased?

I'll keep looking out for another 4k screen to use instead

just dont buy any of the 600 series imo because of the fake 4k using a white sub pixel every so often.
also isnt this an 8bit panel? LG,sammy etc need to be more open about specs imo
