I can't ever recall a 10KG LG washer ever being this cheap. Incredible value, bearing in mind the 5 year warranty. It really seems pointless going for a cheap washer with a 1 year warranty.

Plus you get Steam and metallic trim thrown in too.

Oodles of value! Hughes are so much better to deal with than Currys too!

If the graphite version was available at this price you would have had the additional benefit of the illuminated buttons!

Good machines i have older smaller version.. Been twelve years still going strong no issues.. In that time just needed a 2 pound bottle to clear white stuff from drum and its waste areas.. Voted hot..
Have this machine (paid £365).

Really impressed with it so far. Much quite and quicker than what it replaced.

It got marked down by Which? who claim it's slow compared to competition, but I think they misread the run times and compared different loads.

This seems like a cracking deal.
Has anyone know when this deal expires? Want to sell mine before buying this washing machine
Have similar model and is amazing. Very quiet and reliable. Voted hot.

Great machine. Have 9kg steam version. Just beware the nfc download for different wash cycles isn’t compatible with iphone so the ‘download’ setting, on my machine, is just 20min cold wash. Slightly annoying as it was only visible in tiny print! Anyway. Hope that helps someone. Its a great machine otherwise!

Was very pleased with my DD LG. It lasted over 12 years before the bearings went (not economically repairable). The absurdity of having to have a specific phone in order to give it a Wool Cycle was what put me off this generation. That isn’t ‘Smart’, it’s dumb.
That apart, this looks a good deal.

Well as the 2019 V series becomes more established, at least NFC tag on will become a thing of the past, as the new generation is WiFi equipped throughout the entire range.
Will aim to buy something in the summer, please ensure this deal reappears!

I bought this one earlier this year - very happy with it. The NFC stuff is a gimick in my view, there's plenty enough cycles built in and every one can be amended (e.g. up the 30 minute wash to run at 40 degrees with 1400 spin instead of the standard 20/1000, it just increases the time to 43 mins). I'm not sure what the distinction is between a wool cycle and delicates (think that's 20/800/gentle wash), so there's really no need to download a specific cycle.
How annoying, paid £409 delivered next day for this at Curry’s on Monday. Came on Tuesday and had it fitted that day. Can’t sent back now used I presume.

Replaced a 6 year old Panasonic and so far wife not that impressed as with the Panasonic, on the 120min wash the clothes came out almost dry so when putting them on the clothes horse rack they dried fully really quick. With this LG still really wet. Might need to tinker with the programme used so any recommendations welcome?

Can that be done from the front panel - ie without the NFC-connected phone? (I was told not!)

The clothes shouldn't be really wet. Spin efficiency is excellent and on 1200 or 1400 spin speed clothes should be nearly dry.

Faulty perhaps? A case for a refund perhaps?

Possibly, also there is always a small pool of water in the rubber seal when it finishes, not see that before. Tried Cotton and Mix settings so far but changed the temperature to 30 degrees rather than 40. The spin is set to 1400.

Shouldn't ever leave a pool of water in the rubber seal. Sometimes I find there's a pool of water in the empty drum, but that's because the plumbing is shared with the kitchen sink so naturally to will get water pushed back from time to time. If your waste pipe is not shared with the sink or dishwasher then it might indicate a fault. I've had 3 LG's and never had an issue of a pool of water left in the rubber seal before.

You might get a deal on one of the newer V series AI models by then if you're lucky!
Anyone know if Hughes' delivery people would lug it up stairs and remove the old one?

No idea but currys were out of the door half way by the time the machine rocked off of the sacktruck
My mate fitted mine and I left the old one at the end of the drive. Within an hour there was a knock at the door and someone took it away for scrap.

What was the make of the Panasonic one you had?

It was the NA-140VS4. Good machine but during the 5 year warranty had to have drum replaced then the door then before Christmas it started to trip the electrics randomly then the panel started flashing too much.

Ah ok just liked the idea of ready dry (almost) clothes straight out of the wash

Yes. You just turn the dial to the program you want, then over-ride by pressing the display for spin/temperature. The one I've got is the marginally better model with chrome trim, but think the internals are the same.

Damn. Missed this deal

Never mind. These 20% off eBay deals seem to be coming up every couple of months with the likes of Hughes, Currys, AO, Crampton & Moore, Argos and one or two others.

The list changes slightly each time, more often than not you'll come across a great LG Washing machine deal.

If you can't wait the standard Curry's deal with the discount code is still a great buy.
Great washer bought The same one before black Friday for about 450 so this deal definitely worth every penny
