I've been looking for a good Android tablet for a little while now. I went back and forth between the Sero 8, the Nook HD+, MeMO pad and the Nexus 7 2013 edition. At this price, this fits my needs nicely.

Biggest downsides observed for some include the following:
No 3G/SIM slot
No HDMI out - but there are other ways.
People have complained about the screen being a bit dim.
Camera is average

Dimensions: 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm (8.54 x 4.98 x 0.33 in)
338 g (11.92 oz)
IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
1200 x 1920 pixels, 8.3 inches (~273 ppi pixel density)
Multitouch
Stereo speakers
3.5mm jack
microSD up to 64 GB
Internal 16 GB, 2 GB RAM
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA
Bluetooth
Infrared port
microUSB v2.0 (SlimPort)
5 MP front camera, 2592 х 1944 pixels, autofocus, check quality
Features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR

Probably all the returns from the easter deal....

Seems like a good deal to me. I got mine in the easter deal but that deal has gone now so it seems like a good price for a good tablet.

Possibly, but then things often get returned for the most silly things sometimes. I would have bought this at easter... given the chance. It's not very easy to find a price like this for it even now.

Love this tablet, never had a problem and runs evrything thrown at it.

I have it and its great. Excellent HD screen and the perfect size for me. Have a 128GB card in mine full of HD movies which all play great. Decent price but having got mine for new cheaper not sure about paying this for a refurbished model.

Why is this being voted child? Where can I get a better spec for this price?

no idea I voted adult

This would have been a great price at the start of the year, but now I'd try to find the Galaxy Tab 8.4 - 200 new but can be found as low as 179 from importers so it's not inconceivable some refurbs will appear at similar price - not as low as this for sure.

I bought one recently from the tesco eBay store. This is a highly rated tablet, very well built with quality materials. no cheap plastic here. Also a great HD screen.

It is also fast and has a built in IR blaster so yours control your TV, sky box and other goodies with it.

personally I think a great deal.

+ 1 and the screen is crystal clear and vivid, love mine

and just to add that whilst the box was obviously secondhand the tablet was unmarked and 'as new'.

Sweeter, smoother, faster than an iPad mini.

Watch out for the fragile, fickle micro usb port. LG repairs contractors were slooow and a let down and the gPad was sent twice for fixing.

After reading reviews about the hudl 2 possibly running windows 8 due to its processor and having similar screen res&size as this and with my tegra note 7 beginning to play up im beginning to be torn between this and the hudl 2 ?
