What does Grade A mean?
The phone is used but in excellent condition.
Cosmetically the phone won’t show any signs of use, there won’t be any scratches, cracks or scuffs to the screen or casing.
It’s been fully tested* and is in full working order.

I have bought Grade A before and it was spotless...

** I did amend the price to reflect postage but it seems to have reverted back. Its £4.99 shipping

You're better off buying elsewhere as when that 60 day warranty expires, if the device develops any hardware faults you're screwed. LG won't touch it and SmartFoneStore won't want to know.

You're better of spending a bit more for peace of mind, I learned my lesson.

You can get customer returns in the original box with accessories for £279.99 from Mobile Phones Direct. This is not that great a deal, £15 less but no box, accessories and it will be used rather than a DSR return.

Yep Smartfonestore = cold.

I'd previously purchasd 3 handsets from them with no problems even returning one within a few days (Grade A) which was in a state. I would have recommended them until:-

I spent £309 buying a Grade A Samsung Galaxy Note 3 handset. 5 months down the line the developed a hardware fault (motherboard failure).

I took the handset to a Samsung repair centre, and had my repair refused as the handset had been registered for a previous repair under the prior owners name. This is despite the fact that the handset has a 24 month manufacturer warranty against defects.

I contacted smartfonestore explaining the situation and the inability to use the manufacturer warranty. The manager Andy explained that they tested the handsets and that they could not guarantee any remaining warranty, and that as it was outside their 60 day warranty, I would have to arrange repair some how through a third party at my own expense.

So in summing up, if you buy a handset from these guys at several hundred pounds and after 2 months it develops a manufacturing fault and it's been registered by the previous owner for a repair, you've wasted your money.

I can't tell you how to spend your hard earned money, but I wished that I had been warned.

the site does state that Grad A ships with original box and accessories but I take others point on the warranty issues.
