Cancelled my order of this when the 32gb EU version came up on amazon.de cyber deals for only a little more, but have tried flubit just to see if that tempts me back...

Looking forward to getting this

Good phone for the price

This might drop even further in the coming months if you can wait, considering the LG G2 was on offer for £150 not long ago

Bought one from ebuyer the other day, nice design but it is very laggy. Maybe the 3gb version is better.

I'm trying to hold off till 3 go 4g in my home/work areas and the G3 updates to the lollipop I have on N4, should be giving em away by then

ive had mine a week and so far no issues. battery life much better than my previous iphone 5, easily lasts me a day with moderate use, camera is amazing! very easy to use all round with the simple layout. not experienced any lagging so far

Can you give me the link to the lag issues??

I've tried all the XDA tips, but still seem to have lag. Maybe I'm just fussy....candy crush lag is very noticeable lots of the time.

Just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 pre-owned for £250 on ebay.

Will I regret not buying a G5 brand new for £50 more ????

I'm upgrading from a Galaxy S3.

I think it's a typo and "Will I regret not buying a G5 brand new for £50 more" was intended to read G3 not G5.

This is not a great deal you can buy the 32gb 3gb ram for $400 / £255

I got this from ebuyer a week ago. Really pleased. After purchase I read some neg reviews about battery life and lag. Cant say I have noticed either to be an issue. Battery seems to last 3 days or more if you enable some energy saving measures and aren't a heavy user. Changed from Sony Z3 compact which was great but some icons a bit small for my mid 40s eyes!

If all G3 Prime offers is a slightly better processor for hardware and a premiun cost (£450-500), then the G3 would be the better option.
The Prime may trigger the G3 to be even cheaper!

Written in July and still not released. Will LG bother now?

regarding the lag, if you turn ART on from the developers menu the the lag disappears

i've heard this a few times, i dont have an LG so cant confirm

Go to settings About phone Software information Build number then tap … Go to settings > About phone > Software information > Build number then tap on Build number 7 -8 times until you get a pop up saying you are now a developer. Then back out to the previous page and you should see a Developer options category. Click on Select runtime and choose "Use ART". This will reboot your phone and upgrade your runtime to ART. This process takes about 20-25 minutes. Once your phone reboots it will be extremely choppy making you wonder if you made the right switch. Don't worry let your phone adjust for 5 minutes then do another restart. After restart go back into Settings > Developer options and change the Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, Animator duration scale to .5x from the drop down menu. Then restart your phone again and let it load then you should experience a lag free lightning fast LG G3!A couple of notes I would like to mention. Firstly, before switching to ART my animation scales were set at 1x by default but when I went to change the animation scales after I changed the runtime to ART I found the animation scales turned off which was causing a choppy experience. I don't know how that happened but it must have happened during the conversion. Secondly, if for some reason you don't like the performance of ART you can always switch back to Dalvik so don't be afraid you think this is a permanent alteration. Also, I have read that Verizon LG G3 doesn't do well with ART so try this with caution. And lastly I just want to say that this is what worked for me and I am not promising anything nor am I responsible if anything happens to your phone. Use at your own risk but since these are options built into your phone I would say that everything is perfectly safe and completely reversible.I apologize to the advanced users for writing an elementary post but if I can help one person with this annoying lag issue I would be a happy man. Hope this works for everyone. Good luck!

forums.androidcentral.com/lg-…tml

post back if it works or not

I also heard from Lollipop on G3 that the lag disappears apparently Lollipop uses ART by default

The 3Gb RAM one is suppose to be better experience

Hi
I'm really tempted by this. I'm not worried about the comments on lag etc, but more about how bright the screen is.
I currently have the Moto G 2014, and had the original before. Does anyone know if this screen is as bright as the Moto G? I'm stuck between this and the new Moto X after receiving the £100 off voucher, but need a decent phone camera.

Thanks

I was hoping to get this as well, but it was announced long ago and only released in Korea with no signs of it being released elsewhere. Galaxy S5 has a similar deal with a "prime" version only being released in Korea and nowhere else.
I wouldn't hold your breathe on it being released here, that article was just pure speculation. You could import from Korea but will be expensive and risky.

Might wait to January and if there's nothing by then go with the G3.Cheers.
