Not a good phone

Good phone

OK phone

It's still a good phone.

good phone so long as it doesnt boot loop!

Bought for £220 last December from Vodafone...

i had this phone for 12 months then I got the no-boot-up problem. Thought it was an average phone until then. Didn't like the curved back because it was awkward using it face up (the phone, not me) on a desk (again the phone, not me)

Great phone, until it bootlocks, which happened to me and lots of owners. Same issue with LG G5 as well, so I'll never be buying LG again...

decent phone up there with some of the top phones out for money.
I still got mine did have boot loop problem but sorted in over a week after sending it back to LG. had back for a few week now and all good so far.
my partner has had no problem with hers as of yet and we brought roughly around same time.
paid over 300 from Amazon last October and paid 300 for another month later from ebuyer holding there money well.
great phone I find it.
worth googling it v Any other phone your looking at will pop up

oh and that was for leather back lol

Now got the Oneplus 3, far superior phone, but was £330 (o2 shop but unlocked) so not a fair comparison. Bought the LG G4 from ebay for £230 eGlobal (never again)

I have had a G4 for the last six months (got it for £170 with Amazon Warehouse Deals) and found it absolutely fantastic for the price and coming from a 2013 Nexus 5 I found it a great upgrade. If I'm honest I have a slight preference for the tighter Google integration of the Nexus but adding a few apps lets you get a very similar experience on the G4.

The curved back is a non-issue for me as I would never use any expensive (or even mid priced) Smart phone without a proper protective case/wallet, otherwise the screen could quickly get scratched, which in turn allows it to sit perfectly flat on a desk too....

Boot loop issues beware

Boot loop issues beware

Boot loop issues on a tiny percentage, two year warranty so covered anyway, you are just fear mongering, like with any smart phone (they can all go wrong, none are perfect) just make sure you keep all your data in the cloud too (google drive, photos etc)

Had mine for a year and no problems with it.Very good camera.Good storage.Good features.

LG wouldn't touch mine because they told me that they would not repair phones bought from eGlobal. eGlobal only gave me one year warranty. I was within 4 weeks of the warranty ending and eGlobal did agree to repair the phone but they lost it somehow. They gave me £175 compensation so I was happy to take that and get a better phone

Whats your ser no

Seems a bit expensive for what you can get for the money these days, & it was cheaper (£220) in the past as people have being saying. I reckon £200 would be a fairer price.

This phone has a bad system flaw. That will cause it to boot loop eventually. It isn't a matter of if but when. Its a shame because its a great phone.

I think the boot loop issue is only on a certain batch of devices so I'm told. I mine was one on the batch but I've not had any bootloop problems.

1 yr warranty samsung is the 2yr
average phone .poor battery .camera gets super scratched and it does reboot itself often .very average

Not true. LG said they won't fix it and claimed water damage which was not the case.

whats your ser no just the first 3

paid this amount about a year ago

This is a great phone and runs really well (most of the time). I've had 2 issues with the phone which required it being repaired twice. I've had the phone for nearly a year and a half now.

All phones can have issues, but its the first phone I've ever had issues with that have required repairs. If you do buy, keep your proof of purchase safe as you'll need it if you encounter any issues.

Not bad for the money.
Orite-ish phone with lovely screen and camera.
200 quid sounds about right tho.

are the newer models more reliable?

if there were problems surely they would have replaced the mainboards?

I'd say this phone is worth about 190 when you consider the specs and performance of the one plus three for 336 from o2.

Had mine for a year now - Brilliant phone and no problems

whats your ser no

Love this phone. Had it since January but.... Only issue is a screen burn type effect. Shadowing almost, when the screen is dark grey/black. Colour seems to appear leeched up the sides of the screen. Really odd but don't notice it 95% of time unless using the phone in dark conditions. Can't be bothered returning as perfect otherwise. Lot of phone for the money but I got it for £225 so price should be lower. G3 was £199 in Argos this time last year so might find it drops even lower eventually.

worst phone ever had 3 problems never buying lg again

Loved it until the boot issue materialized a month ago. Bought from Amazon Germany and it has been in their repair centre for over two weeks. Cannot say I would recommend.
