Yes, did that before Christmas. Love the knock code feature
Shame you have to buy a Vodafone sim card. I'll never use it.
Easy enough to unlock?
This or the O2 Refresh Galaxy S6?

Would appreciate any opinions either way!

You dont have to buy a sim, just select 'Keep your existing sim' at the bottom of the page. Dosen't matter if you are a customer or not, they never check when you order online, ive done this with phones bought from vodafone online before.

It has come down to £250 in the Gulf and reduced also in Canada. It's a new phone, that is why it is so expensive,. You just need to wait a bit- like I am.

I have been looking at this in detail and it does seem to have everything most people would need in a smartphone, plus of course the physical keyboard. Just a shame they won't be doing a dual sim version. Would have thought that's a feature more suited to a business class phone.

The S6 is a better phone by a bit in nearly every respect, screen, camera, processor, build quality. However this does have the leather back, removable battery and micro SD slot it is a very nice phone and well worth the price. I personally went with the LG because it was cheaper and less hassle, but for those that have to have the best phone the S6 is a no brainer. Also note that the LG 4G has been superseded.

Great price! Only gripe is Vodafone plaster their phones with bloatware.

For me its the G4. Bought an S6 and returned it looking at the abysmal battery life. Would not say G4 is great but much better than S6. Of course not to mention the additional benefit of removable battery and sd card.

Anything compareable to this phone for this price right now?
Wow, was in the process of ordering this but it kept coming up with error on my card details.
Decided to leave it till I get home and now its OOS.
Typical.

why? Your quote on its own doesnt help people to know what your problem is/was. tx
sold out already
Anyone know how much bloatware comes with the Vodaphone? Is it better to purchase unlocked off Ebuyer?
A great phone on a great deal. The camera is absolutely fantastic and the screen is superb. The battery life may only be average but at least you can swap it out for a new one.
Good to see the 'email me when back in stock' feature works so well...
Crap Customer Service again. Added to basket, but cannot go trough checkout process and contacted customer service. they advised me to log out and log in again, then phone is removed from my basket . now out of stock

As someone who has tried both, let me give you my opinion.

I went through a huge effort to get the G4 on this deal, and eventually got it. Got the plastic back, which I wouldn't recommend - feels cheap. Definitely go for the leather if you want one of these. Overall, I wasn't satisfied. The camera was good, but really requires more manual intervention to get the most out of it, something I'm not bothered with (I wanted more of an "out of the box" camera experience). The software is really unrefined I found. It just feels "loose" and not very well thought out, kinda hard to explain. Review videos will tell you exactly the same thing. I found the battery life to be very poor too. So after returning the G4 back to Vodafone (who thankfully took it back along with the top up), I went for the O2 refresh GS6 deal.

So far I've been very happy with my choice. Battery is as good if not better (maybe I had a bad G4!), it's still not great mind you - I have to do some battery optimisations to get it to last me through the day. The lack of expandable storage is not ideal but I don't store lots of stuff on my phone anyway. Everything else is just stellar. Build quality feels miles and miles better than the G4. Design and overall fit and finish is superb. And I'm super impressed with what they've done with Touchwiz; no lag at all, and it all feels very well thought out. Nearly all features are genuinely useful and it's nicely customizable. Other than that, the fingerprint scanner is amazing - I can unlock my phone securely without having to think about it, or have to punch in a code or worry about patterns every time (let's face it, most of us have to look at our phone many times a day - why not make it seemless). The wireless charging is a nice touch too, I've bought one from Amazon and it's nice to just put it down without plugging in at night - will save the port from getting worn down that way too.

I'd say if you really need more storage and a removable battery, maybe think about the G4. But in my experience the GS6 has been far better than the G4 in literally all other areas.

Obviously it's just an opinion, so don't shoot me people - my needs/tastes may be different to yours ^_^
i guess everyone has their own tastes and needs

if you watch this video, you can see the G4 has the better camera vs the S6 in auto mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG-Fg4upxZw

i have had both too and preferred the G4, due to price and spec, cant go wrong with either really, for me the S6 battery was worse.

After being a Samsung customer for years, I switched to LG (G2/G3) their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. The phones are great for the first 12 months and then faults occur. For these reasons I'll be going back to Samsung.
The red is showing in stock in Altrincham, will they honour the online price?
I'm still trying to source 2. I was in my local Vodafone store but wasn't any in. I can't understand why there are is a shortage on them. It's a flagship phone.

Maybe LG are producing less of them and preparing for the launch of the G5, which is likely to be at least double this price at launch.
