This is not direct from Amazon at this price but from third party seller who ship from UK. It is quite a good price for this phone (I think). Amazons own price is £399 and CPW is £499. Don't think there is much point in adding all the technical blurb.

LG phones can be easily damaged, not recommended

So true. I missed my pocket with mine and it fell on the concrete and smashed. If only I had bought a Samsung or iPhone it would have been ok.

My G3 failed to switch on, tried new battery but nothing. Gutted because the camera was ok. Now have Lenovo P2 great battery.

Hmmmm..

Pay the £30 extra to get one supplied by Amazon.

LG phones have bootloop issue. Do not buy!

The G6 does not suffer these issues and neither did the G5. The G4 was the dodgy one.

Wasn't it just the g4 with the bootloop issue, they had a specific batch with those issues. They could be exchanged if faulty in warranty, which is 2 years in the UK.

I was informed by an LG rep that the G6 phones also have issues. And to get the v30 instead. I am holding out for a v30 now.

On to my 4th year with my g3

My g3 died in its second year... just refused to turn on one day.

All phones manufactured from may 2015 through to September 2015 have the potential of breaking. Like a ticking time bomb. Some people have reported issues with g4's after that date with boot loop issues. Mine broke after 7 months after purchasing in July 2015 and had its motherboard replaced with one manufactured February 2016. I still have the phone and no further issues.

LG were excellent in sorting my phone and would definitely consider one of their phones again. It is an amazing phone and much better than the equivalent Samsung of that year in my opinion, i.e the S6 and was quite a bit cheaper. If you don't need a lot of data then mobiles.co.uk have some good deals on the g6.

Agreed. When I enquire with LG over their G4 issue they wouldn't confirm if they had lots of failures and that was afterwards they had issued a statement in the press staying they would repair all phones with issues providing they phone hadn't been abused.

Send it back..2yr warranty.

Maybe it was just out of warranty, but they refused to help, also had the hairline crack in mic port 4 times

He wasn't selling and couldn't ( wrong dept), I was booking my g5 in for RMA. And I took the opportunity to ask him about the reliability of the G6 and v30 phones.
He was quite clear to avoid the G6 but could not say why and to definitely get the v30.
