eglobal - stay well away!

What's the issue with eGlobal? I was looking at getting at an LG V20 from there

Terrible company, they'll happily take your money, but good luck getting your purchase

TrustPilot is a scam; John Lewis has only one star - don't buy from them X)

I have actually used Global Central many many times and not a single problem.

what if use eglobalcentral via ebay? This model has the quad dac/amp. I would jump if i had not purchased a V10 just yesterday.

You can buy from them directly and forget TrustPilot You can pay by PayPal with all PayPal guarantees if problem arise, but as I have said, I made somewhere 31 orders on eGlobal Central website and all were received in time without any problems.

Hi... I purchased My LG V20 from them last year. I was a bit skeptical at first, but phoned arrived as described and extremely quick, considering where it came from. I was so happy purchased an iPad Pro weeks after. They have become my go to place for electronics. They were extremely busy during Black Friday sales, but did respond to a query I had regarding a product. I paid via Paypal for peace of mind. Don't be put off by review sites, I have saved hundreds of pounds and in the Case of my Lg V20, have a High end phone that's not been released in Europe. (The current price is even more better now)

Don't forget Quidco too! Eglobal have always paid on my purchases.

Awful awful company. They held my phone for ransom and got it back after 60 days. Their response times on tickets can be once a week if you're lucky or they just don't respond.

Sooooo not worth the hassle.

How much are they charging for a V20?

£355/356 In silver or pink. £367 in Black.

Ordered two phones from eGlobal and both been delivered as promised. More than happy and saved £169 compared to UK prices. Will order again.

Similar price for a V20 from an Irish-based seller on eBay:
ebay.co.uk/itm…612

Ordered a nexus 4 from here before and was hit with an unexpected import tax that they didn't mention

Eglobal are fine if there isn't a problem if there is a problem their warranty aint worth toilet paper a terrible company if something goes wrong - if you want to use them great but don't promote them on here - there are numerous horror stories about them.

Makes perfect sense - people leave bad reviews and the obvious thing to do is totally ignore them just because Eglobal are cheap - you're an imbecile.

But if it goes right, like it will for the vast majority, then you have a big saving. It depends if you are willing to take the risk but all imports are a risk. Buying used phones is a risk as well.

This is the Korean version of the G6. It seems to state that it is compatible with all UK LTE bands which is a bonus - if you want the Quad DAC then seems to be a possibility, however I would suggest that paying £500+ for a grey import LG flagship is fcking mental because this phone is going to be £350 by September...

You have no consumer protection at all - your £500 phone gets broke in the post Eglobal ask you to return it which will cost you an arm and a leg. Then Eglobal mysteriously can't find the phone - goodbye £500.

If buying single item over £100, consider not using Paypal as Paypal only provides max 180days cover, consider using a credit card to directly purchase from the vendor then benefit from S75 protection, meaning the UK credit card issuer assumes joint and several responsibility for supply, warranty and any other benefits as stated at point of purchase. The only issue via the S75 route may be the possibility of cc details being abused by the payment merchant processor (Worldpay for EGC?) same as for any other any other direct credit card purchase where the vendor may not see the cc details.

So much for "our technicians can not find any fault".A truly morally dishonest if not criminally dishonest bunch, it beggars belief how they have got away with it for so long.

Do not buy lg phones (g4, g5, v10, v20, nexus 5x) from unknown sources. They have hardware problem with bootloops and only replace main board can help. My nexus 5x died after 15 months. Type in google - lg bootloop and you will see how big problem it is.

I'm sorry but it's not that simple. But you know what, you just cant help some people. If you told them if you press a red button in front of them it'll blow them up a percentage of them would still press it.

Once, I bought a phone from them. They say its a UK based company but its not. The Brand warranties are not supported in UK. You will have to pay for the shipping and also for return delivery as well.

Poort customer care as they dont understand the customer requirements. I had to go through many phases, even PayPal was unable to resolve the issue. PayPal were supporting the seller and were offering me shipping £10 as a friendly gesture. The international shipping for Thailand would cost more than that.

Eventually, I have approached AMEX as the PayPal payment was made through this. They have taken my inputs and helped me resolve the order with a full refund and eGlobal themselves arranged for a pickup. All of this went for nearly 55 days.
