Say what you like about eglobal central and buying from outside the UK, but this is the cheapest this phone has been. I bought the platinum version yesterday (when the black version was more expensive).

Is this the 'Quad DAC' version or is that only available in South Korea?

Yes, this is the new global version with 64GB of internal storage and quad DAC.
can someone confirm if these phones have gps issues like other lg phone specially lg g5? also does it have notifications light?
Tempting. I have the G5 with the modular DAC module, wondering if this 'Quad DAC' would sound better (mine already good).

i can't comment on the DAC quality but don't forget that the G5 had the Snapdragon 820 processor whereas the G6 has the only ever so slightly faster Snapdragon 821 processor, compared to the 835 that all the other 'flagship' phones have.
Ridiculous price but EGlobal and LG have left a very sour taste in my mouth after my LG G4 went into a bootloop.

I now have an expensive brick
Was really tempted by this phone at this price, but
Was really tempted, but have just been reading a LOT of negative reviews on this company: uk.trustpilot.com/rev….uk
I would probably wait for the plus version once available tbh
Great price, but this is getting ridiculous now - a new thread for every price decrease, which seems to be happening twice a week now (Edit: Or, even every few hours now!)

Incredibly, the cut-down UK version holds its high price (£600 appears to be the lowest) as people must be buying at this price.

£325.91 now - could the OP change the price in the title please (before some idiot creates yet another thread).
Bit gutted as I get it at a higher price from the same outfit. No problems with delivery and the phone is VERY good indeed. I don't know if the Plus will be much different to this one as it has 64GB rather than the 32GB of the IK model and has the quad DAC. Dual SIM too.

Don't worry about it only having a Smapdragon 821, it run smooth and fast.

I want the G6, but I'm worried about the company, they don't have good reviews with customer service

Have you tried to contact LG? They have admitted the hardware fault, so you sould be able to get it repaired by them.

I have, they state that because eglobal bought their warranty they cannot support the handset and I must contact eglobal. Everyone knows that's a lost cause. They don't want to know.

If the phone was under warranty the time, you should have contacted eglobal first. And if they didn't budge, you could maybe pursue Section 75? You can still do this if the phone is still under warranty (2 years in Europe but not sure about eglobal's warranty period)
Don't matter how good the price is if the company is **** and have poor warrenty and after sales

The 2 years is offered by LG and not EGlobal. As they're in HK, section 75 would mean nothing.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with EGlobal and they're the shadiest company I have ever dealt with. They actually held my handset ransom and would respond to my ticket once every 2-6 days. Took 3 months to get my handset back from them.
Cold for every deal that comes from eglobal as they are not a UK company and don't provide manufacturer warranty. I don't even know how that is allowed on HOTUKDEALS

there will be another one soon.
I ordered an LG V20, no updates on delivery from their courier. I posted a ticket to their helpdesk on Tuesday, and no response from them at all. I'd previously ticketed them because the tracking data on DPD was wrong, and they took three days to respond and didn't really address the issue.
I will say what I want about Eglobal central thanks :)....

They are absolutely useless. I ordered a phone from there and after the 3rd day with no update I chased them every day for 7 days and never heard anything back with my phone still showing as 'processing' (despite showing as in stock).
It was only when i raised a complain through paypal I finally got a reply "We are sorry you wish to cancel your order why is this".

I'm sure there are some success stories but I have had much better experiences buying direct from China with geekbuying bangood and gearbest
I have purchased several phones through them and have found they sometimes sell items they don't actually have in stock and this is why they sometimes take up to a week to ship. However if you are willing to wait the prices are good.
LG phones looks beautiful but the go wrong in every possible way i.e Nexus 4, G3, G4, G5

CCA s75 creates joint & several liability with the retailer & CC company

Even if the retailer is abroad, if the card is issued under the CCA then you can claim from the issuer (for items priced between £100 & £30K).

house insurance?
I am not bothered about eglobal, you can even get quidco and topcashback as well as claim on CC or house insurance....
The thing that annoys me...

Is the fact you cannot upgrade your battery....

My current Sammy S3 has a zerolemon extended battery and I only need to charge it once a week, these iffy piffy ''new high tech'' phones all suffer the same problem...

iffy piffy unreliable battery's.
I was tempted by this deal but the service from eglobal put me off. for the best really as 2 LG phones have bootlooped in the last two years. lg customer service leaves a lot to be desired as well.

"... Section 75 would mean nothing"

Not true. Section 75 is the Credit Card provider terms. These hold true no matter where you bought the item, or what currency you paid in. As long as it was on the credit card.

For me it is just not buying an LG product outside of the UK. I read that something like one in five LG G4 phones have had to go back to LG for repair at least once. Mine has been back three times. That's annoying but at least it CAN go back for a repair. You are on your own with companies outside the UK and for me the risk is way to high to consider this as a potential buy.

I once had a deal from a well known model shop turned down because they didn't display there company registration details on there website.
This sites turned into a bit of a joke.
I've took a punt and ordered through PayPal / Credit Card. Sold my oneplus 3 in anticipation of getting the oneplus 5 but they've lost my custom now.

Was it the overheating CPU that destroys them or another problem like modding?

Overheating was an issue but the main problem was the camera constantly shutting down when in use and random camera shut down notifications popping up night and day cutting off youtube videos and suchlike. Turning notifications off made no difference. So far LG have replaced the camera once and the motherboard once. It's with them now for a third time.
