Was this price most places anyways. But still worth it.
Wish they'd update this device to android oero, kind of making me think twice about buying it
I have this phone, its great with a big clear screen and is £625.08 cheaper than the latest iPhone. You can buy your car tax and insurance for a year with that
Got a john Lewis price match against this when it was this price in November. Since bought from JL and had the price match refund. I know LG give a 2 year warranty but JL 2 year warranty too. Defo worth the effort. Great phone too.

Best stick with Pixel, the only Android with guaranteed OS Updates

This would have been my next phone if they hadn't skimped on the Quad DAC for Europe.

Wrong. Nokia is just as good with updates as Google

Voted cold, wouldn't touch an LG phone ever again. Even without bootloop issues I've always experienced nothing but problem after problem with LG phones. Never again

Ahh, in fact a number of manufacturers guarantee updates for Android phones. I understand Nokia promises two years for models 3, 5 & 6. Google promises three years for the Pixel. You may agree that is actually better than Nokia... And looks like no one else is offering more than two years.

But Nokia so far has stuck to promises and even got a couple of security patches out before Pixel did

As the price of this deal has now gone up I've just got John Lewis to price match Appliances Direct

I've had the G2 which was the greatest phone I've ever owned for it's time. Fast performance, epic battery life, superb screen, fantastic camera. Then got the G4 which I still loved though I did end up with the boot loop issue after 18 months but Vodafone replaced the board and I'm now typing this on a platinum G6 which I love. Screen and performance are bob on. Dual cameras with wide angle a nice touch and battery life leaves me with 50 percent after a heavy days use. Styling cues taken very much from apple with this too. LG don't make perfect phones, but they do make, in my opinion, the best bang for buck phones on the market. Don't hesitate, you're likely to be pleased
