Brilliant phone, rspecially audio. What are risks of getting landed with import dutirs?
Also ensure you have the radio bands available that you need.
As much as I like camera on lg phones I hate their nonexistent firmware updates.
You would be lucky to get a single updated in a year while even Samsung's mid range A series do prompt monthly security patch updates.
I've read somewhere that LG are improving their updates. I loved my LG G2 great phone, excellent camera.
I still have my G2 phone as a spare. Love it too. Cannot get rid of it.
While this is unlocked according to the listing, the L710VM was produced specifially for Verizon so expect it to be loaded with their bloatware.

Plenty of updates on my Italian G7 ThinQ, that you wouldn't get on this, not European (=LG UK-supported)

LG's software support changed for the better, punished by market ( tough love!)

This'd be a great price OP, if there wasn't risk of import duties & all RM admin fees of diverse kinds (rip-off for mediocre service from Parcelforce)

... plus like @polarbaba said above, this is likely to be the Chinese version without all UK 4g bands

Good try OP anyway

I just got another update yesterday, android 9 march 2020 security updates.
Android 10 update coming out in a couple of months.

I have had updates every few months on this phone, as normally someone at LG eats too many doughnuts and can't be arsed with updates.. but with this it's been good.

And I have an unpopular variant!.

Good to know lg is now promot with their updates.
In my owning of lg g4 for 3 years I only ever had one update that got me deserted from lg phones forever.

They did have poor support for earlier phones.
My G4 is going strong!.
Good audio, but beware the screen scratches easily, get a screen protector. ( This is relative to a zte axon 7 that I had for two year with no screen protector )

Very high.
Anyone still holding on to their LG G2, try the recent Lineage 17 release based on Android 10. Runs fanatically well and proves to me that older Android phones could easily run the latest software. This is a great price OP, nice find!
The modern day Axon 7.
Well i have been buying LG phones since 2012 and the only real downside i have found is the battery life as the G6 to the G8 for example are all rated around 70+ hours so i always ended up charging them in the day with a portable power pack.
While as my Oppo reno 10x zoom & redmi note 7 run for 100 + hours and last all day without a charge.

Yeah the G2 was a great phone, mine is still running in the draw after many years as an emergency device by many of the family.
I still have the V20 too, but LG's software support was slow, Ultra slow and it wouldn't take much of an improvement to be better.

G8 variant sold in this country, G8S ThinQ, was first LG with great battery life.

V50 finally upped battery size to now-normal 4,000 mAh

You will get a lot of phone for your money, however US carrier locked phones are like how they use to be here in the UK 3-4 years ago....

You will need to live with the Verizon splash screens on start up and power off, possibly their logo on the body of the phone and also their own cr*p bundled bloatware which probably can't be uninstalled. Verizon also have final say if the phone get updated, as and when LG offer the updates.

The specs are great for a new phone for this price and LG Camera's while never usually class leading, are usually extremely good.
