3000:1 Static contrast ratio is the thing here, all other monitors seem to utilize 1000:1 at most, oh and it also has 5000:1 Dynamic contrast ratio as well for movies and such.
I ordered one yesterday when there were only 3 left, but it seems ebuyer have more of them in stock today, with 35 left as of this posting.

It's about £20 cheaper than anywhere else, delivery is free, and well... ebuyer is a much more reliable and friendly place to order from than one of those shops you find in "google shopping" like *techhouseuk* & *looksmartpro*...

Lol, just read it back to myself. And god...do I sound alot like an ebuyer tout or something...;-)
But they have always refunded or replaced anything that went wrong, graphics cards, ...er...graphics cards and erm...yeah more graphics cards for me. I always choose the free delivery option myself, they seem to despatch it next day by courier regardless. So £5 or whatever saved.:-D

The claimed static contrast for the L226WTQ is usually 1000:1, I guess the 3000:1 is just a typo on ebuyer's website. X-bit labs measured it at around 300-400:1 contrast which I think is about average for this price range.

This seems a reasonable price for a reasonable screen.
