Great value. Similar power and features to a Goodmans I picked up via a deal on here for slightly less.

Huge improvement over inbuilt speakers, actually decent sound and the Bluetooth comes in handy for streaming music etc.

Heat from me.

Bought! Thank you. Heat.

Damn! The height just covers the remote sensor on my TV - good deal anyway!

I bought one of these from Asda. It wasn't as good as the price offered here but I took it back for a refund. The speakers on my LG tv are far superior to the sound offered by this soundbar. It doesn't have an infra red repeater and as it's quite tall it covers the remote sensor on the tv. If you have a cheap or low end tv then it maybe better than the tv speakers but my tv is a mid-range model and buying this soundbar was a waste of time. The soundbar doesn't have too good a review and perhaps you would be better putting your money towards something better. The LAS260B with 100 watts output has some excellent reviews and was shown on offer recently at Argos.

No HDMI, pity.

It's amazing the expectations of something that cost less than £40

It's Dolby Atmos too!! Just kidding

I bought a Sony one a year ago, sent it back as the sound from my television was better. Couldn't believe it to be honest but really the sound was ****.

This is a cheaper model so I don't hold out much hope of it being any good.

had this was crap

can it be used with a mobile device?? sorry I'm not so tech savvy !

Purchase, brilliant price! Good speaker if you live in terrace or flats. Bass is there, but not overwhelming - shouldn't annoy neighbours.

How about an explanation?

reviews don't look good on amazon:

What does this mean? Do only high end sound bars have HDMI connections?

Does it have a jack socket? I want to setup a few around the house for Chromcasting.

My TV has 2 x 10W speakers and this soundbar is 50W so worth checking out.

The manual is here incidently: lg.com/uk/…60B

Watts means nothing - it won't mean it sounds better or worse

Thanks for that.

I bought this on sale at Sainsburys and the sound quality was good, but the complete lack of any bass made it poor for me. I returned it and got the next model up with the sub, which is far better imo.

Yes absolutely. Just switch on the Blootooth in your mobile, search for and find the speaker, and anything you play on your mobile will output audio through the speaker.

Your text here

"Having a wide array of connection options is always a bonus as you'll never know what you might want to connect in the future. At a minimum, most soundbars will have at least RCA jacks, as well as a digital optical connection. The latter will be your preferred choice. More premium soundbars will often also have something called HDMI ARC.

If your television has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) connection (these are just regular HDMI ports but will be labelled as HDMI ARC), you can connect to the soundbar over an HDMI cable. By then using a standard called HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) you can then control the volume of the soundbar through your television remote. "
In a word yes....

It sometimes amazes me how items like this can get so much heat but I guess that's easy for me to say as I bought one, tried it, took it back. It's crap. I suppose if I hadn't bought one I could have got into the click the hot tab, it's an LG after all. Just because something has a brand name on it, is a good price (it would seem) actually isn't a hot deal at all because it's rubbish. They could be selling these for a fiver and for me it would still be a fiver wasted.

I'm torn between this or the sonos

Trying this out for the price. My TV's hooked up to PC Speakers right now. Might miss the bass woofer, we'll see. Heat for price

Got one of these : only a slight improvement over my sony TV's sound: at this price it's not terrible but I would save for something better if I had the choice .
