Could you not just buy the samsung 23" from them at £150, and £17 set top box?

Works out cheaper, although you cuold find a cheaper stb elsewhere...

I've 3 of three of these and they are sold as monitors with built in freeview and come with 3 year warranties. They are excellent monitors when used with a good graphics card as well as great TV's. I've one in conseratory at TV and two sons use them as monitors/TV in bedrooms with PC, great space savers.

I'd recommend them I paid betweem £230 and £198 for our as they where all both at different times.

Thats not really suited to hanging on the wall as the stand sticks out at the bottom - a little design oversight that made me choose this one posted by Millarcat .

ahh ok, i just have mine sitting on a unit so didnt notice that. Very good picture either way and have no doubt this one posted is excellent too. Im a fan of LG tvs particularly as my 32" was really cheap at the time and still looks better than my parents sony!

AAAGGGHHhhhh - it's NOT wall mountable - back it goes!

Ok, I'm probably being really dumb here. I don't understand how these TV/Monitors differ from a regular monitor (aside from the tuner). Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a regular monitor and plug a freeview box in using an adaptor? Is there something I've missed?

Thank you!
