The Samsung T220HD is back in stock
ebuyer.com/pro…850 (209.99)

Be careful when comparing as the T220 is not the same as the T220HD! The HD has the tuner, remote - the T220 is a bare bones monitor.
Is the Samsung T220HD better? or are these two pretty much the same. I prefer the connection panel of the LG seems very well laid out. From reviews the sound on the Samsung isn't that good. The LG seems a good all rounder. Anyone using this with an XBox - and do I need a special cable. Anyone compared both together in PCWorld or elsewhere.

imo i think its great deal, because 22"-24" monitors can range past this price, but this is also a tv.

Great spec, nice bit of kit, I've got a 20 inch LG panel and love it but this is an excellent buy. Voted hot.

Personally I think ebuyer.com/pro…705 is a better deal as its cheaper and has full 1080p res but still has a freeview tuner

If you any is looking for a 24'' with Tuner, there is also the Samsung T240HD
Microdirect have refurbished models @ £250.30 + del.

This is 1080P HD Ready as the screen 1900x1200 with built in tuner.
As a warning to refurbished LCD :
These could be 'dead pixel' returns, rather than refurbished, ie. customer have returned because they are above the pixel tolerance for samsung. Though there are reports of a software problem regarding contrast settings on some monitors - so maybe the firmware has been fixed then resold.
Still £250 for a HD 1080P 24 LCD 1900x1200 is pretty damn good price.
Also the warranty states the remainder of 9-12 months, when these normally have a 3 year warranty.
