Well I can't find it anywhere cheaper with a 5 year warranty in the UK - can you ?
What's better nanocell or oled? And why?

OLED, deeper blacks.

Nanocell, uled, qled are still lcd based, oled is completely different. Oled uses self emissive pixels, so imagine a 4k screen, it has about 8 million dimming zones. Even the top end qled Q90R maxes out at 512 on their 65"+ panels. This leads to better contrast and better black levels as each pixel is lit individually not by a big led backlight behind which introduces halos.

Drawback is dimmer screen and risk of burn in. Personally I went with oled but it will generally cost more than lcd. LG OLEDs are cheaper than qled upto 65", but Panasonic and Sony OLEDs tend to cost a fair bit more.

What can be done about burn ins? Will a TV be replaced by the manufacturer or merchant? Thanks in advance.

Burn in is so overplayed. How many reports actually are there?

It's still a thing right? So it may happen? I'm curious as to if there's anything that can be done in the worst case scenario.

Yes correct, but don’t rely on LG to help at all.... poor customer service!
I’ve got an OLED, just died after 10 months. LG say I will get an engineer by 27th Jan! How generous! Also mine has image retention/burn and I’m a LIGHT user on eco mode mainly Xbox use and LG don’t want to know. Personally, avoid OLED!! I’m moving to Nanocell (despite me being massively unimpressed with LG) as I don’t trust OLED anymore.

If you disregard the delay in getting out an engineer to you, would your opinion change in anyway if the engineer/LG puts right your TV? Thanks in advance

No....
Don’t get me wrong, OLED is a gorgeous picture, deep blacks and everything mentioned above already, no doubting that! But with screen issues reported all over, plus mine breaking, personally I’ve lost all confidence in OLED.
IMO they aren’t worth the hassle based on my own personal experience. I’m asking Richersounds to price match this TV here (75” Nanocell) and buying tomorrow. Once my OLED is repaired it’s up for sale immediately!!

So will I stay with LG..... obviously yes..... do I want too, not really as customer care is poor!
