A good price on this LG E Series OLED including 5 Years Warranty, from Crampton and Moore

A really premium 'floating' design with the glass bottom of the TV that connects into the stand on this model, and uses the LG A9 processor.

And with 4.2 Channel Sound and 60 Watts of power.

Whilst the B9, C9 and E9 have generally crept up in price again since Christmas, it makes this set a bit more of a bargain at the moment.

Approximately £11-14 Cashback also available through TCB or Quidco.

Just another OLED TV option, hope it helps one of you

I'd personally pay the bit more and get C9 due to the newer features such as VRR support, the E9 is not worth its large premium in my opinion.
Speakers in the C9 are pretty damn good for a TV. At the ~£500 premium between the C9 and E9 when I purchased it certainly would be wiser to spend the difference on a good AV receiver and speaker setup given that the C9 sound is more than good enough for watching TV.
At the same price then obviously take the E9 over the C9 though.

I was one of those lucky gits that managed to get their TV half price in the Currys 1 in 10 promotion so got the 55" C9 for under £700

That's a fair enough comment and I agree about the E9 not being worth a large premium over the C9

I think at the moment you can get both the C9 and E9 for £1399.

If they’re coming in at the same price you’d be mad to go for the c9. Got my e9 for 1,379 and it is stunning

At the same price, or even a little bit more, you're right - E9 all the way. Beautiful telly.
What's better for the same price, E8 or B9?

Screen and processing the same. E9 has built in soundbar. Looks loads better style wise
I brought the OLED55E8P last year and have to say that its a superb TV.
Picture quality is fantastic and its built in speakers are more than adequate but I've got mine on a surround system which just adds to the viewing pleasure.
When ever we get visitors they always comment on how stunning the design is thanks to floating look of the stand.
Id recommend this TV 100%

Agree, the floating design looks great. I’ve also been surprised by the speakers, like you I have mine in a system but the built in ones are good

People who bought an LG OLED from Currys were eligible to enter a promotion, where one in ten of the buyers were given back half of the money they spent on the TV. What a bonus for those who won!

I'm.thinking of purchasing this TV and moving my LG b8 upstairs. Did you do a side by side comparison with the c9? I'm deciding between the 2 or a qled q70 for gaming upstairs.

So is E9 the flagship followed by C9 then B9?
In the market for a new TV.

Unless you can get the c9 for a similar price, Buy the E8..£1099 is a bargain for this TV.

Generally speaking, yes. But...

... The C9 and E9 are basically identical in terms of image quality, and the price premium for the E9 is mainly for a beefier sound performance and a slightly different design. So if you plan to use a soundbar or surround sound system with these TVs, a C9 may still be the better buy of the two (subject to price difference)...

The B9 has a really excellent image quality too, but motion processing isn't quite as good as on the C9/E9. And as the C9 has a newer processor than the B9 it will generally be a bit quicker to navigate around the menus and open up TV Apps.

There's also a W9 model available which from memory is usually quite a bit more money.

I bought the LG b8 last year, & it's been a fantastic TV so far.
The E8 has a better processor than mine. Trust me..I would snap the E8 up at this price. Its a bargain.. you won't regret it.

It was definitely £1,399 for a new set with 5 Year Warranty the day I posted that comment, but yes, prices for the model are higher at the moment. From memory I think the seller was Peter Tyson (I don't have personal experience of them and price matches may have also been available elsewhere at the time).
