price might be good but **** post as there's no information about the TV and where to buy it from

Maybe brilliant price, but rubbish post!

voting cold as it's full HD not even 4k at that price

exactly what I thought

why r people voting it hot when they don't know what they are voting for?

4k content is minimal and on a TV this size 1080p is more than good enough. 4k is a marketing gimmick on scrrens of 55" or less

4K will be on sky in a few months. Stop with the 4K content is minimal nonsense. People don't buy a tv, especially at this price, with the intention of changing it in a few months.

u probably can get 55inch 1080p for half the price n I paid 1200quid for Sony 55inch 4k TV

OLED makes it hot with the price have some heat,

not an OLED tho, OLED 1080p is far superior to 4k non OLED

1080P OLED looks better than 4k led.
Shame it's curved.

This has to be the best price at the moment. All other retailers that incl. 5yr warranty have bumped their prices up to £1699.99.

Heat added.

Always the same crybabies coming on these threads with their LED 4K Tvs bashing these deals.
OLED is superior in everyway compared to an LED set with 4K.
Now stop crying and accept that fact.
On this deal, I've been after an OLED for a while and have even spoken directly with LG on the issue of the curved models. All the LG OLEDs sets have a Curve, even the ones that say FLAT. The curve is subtle on the ones with an F in the model. The G/C models have a bigger curve. It's entirely down to consumer choice.
My LG insiders tell me the current OLED prices are set to drop in a month to make way for the new 2016 Signature range.... So anyone thinking of getting an OLED, hang fire and don't buy an old-technology LED, especially those Android snail-pace Sonys. More news when I have it.

Also, on the debate of whether to go OLED 4k or non-4k, the price difference is almost 1K. Better to stick with non-4k and enjoy the best picture all round. Once 4k is properly established, this would be the wise option.
Naturally, there will be a few butt-hurt people after reading this, but that's the truth

We have a curved an LG OLED 55in TV, not this model. Picture is frankly astonishing even on HD and you really do not notice the curve. It really does make watching TV as realistic as possible with current technology, OLED really is a step change in technology and we are delighted to have made the leap.

if your lucky enough to find stock of the wall mount in the UK that is!
Stock levels are low worldwide, i did manage to find some in the USA for my friend who has ordered one, this link may save anyone looking for one some time searching newegg.com/glo…d=1

works out to be around £57 delivered from the usa.

voted hot because this panel is the best bang for buck at this time. cold voters need to be less trigger happy and research what they are voting for before doing so. if i dont know what i'm voting for i either dont vote hot or cold or do some googling before voting that way this site works as it should do. simple really init?

From the reviews a brilliant tv, just ordered one from Richer Sounds and tried using this to pricematch. They pointed out that the warranty was not equivalent to theirs (the 5 year warranty quoted is parts only) if you buy their warranty it is more expensive than Richer Sounds with 6 years warranty. I live in the Highlands so Appliance Electronics do not deliver to me. So I paid just over £200 more for delivery to me and 6 years Richer Sounds Warranty with a bit of negotiation. Still an excellent deal.
