Cheapest price so far. Hot

Damn! Hot! I need this....

Oh. That's tempting. Anyone got one if these? Would be interested in a real-world opinion!

Just sent a price match request for John Lewis but not sure they will as its collection only but worth a try. As Yeovil a good 150 miles away for me.

suffers from high input lag.

Oops, didn't spot the 'Yeovil' bit when I posted - thanks to the Mod for correction.

Saw this today on Pricespy and visited local John Lewis who price matched for £1499. Cant complain for an OLED tv at this price..... Almost at the end of Price match now.

Ah, okay, I just assumed any adults buying a £1500 high end TV wouldn't really be bothered about it's ability to display children's games.

A lot of Call of Duty games require low lag. They are rated 18+

That may be, but come on, how many 18 to say 22 year olds who primarily still live with parents are going to be buying £1500 TVs for their bedrooms?

I've had this since June and not suffered from lag issues when gaming.
Great TV especially after pro calibration.

Its in the 30's which isn't bad unless you are a really competitive gamer in which case you would be using a PC monitor with a 1ms response time, its worth a small amount of lag for the fantastic picture to be honest and after getting this TV I haven't had any trouble playing multiplayer COD.

Hopefully it gets a JL or Richer Sounds price match.

This was on AV Forums and Over Clockers Forums a day or two back. Getting JL to price match has had varied success, I don't believe this had collection only yesterday, I could be wrong.

Latest firmware update on these sets has added Game mode.

Want the 65 inch sadly, otherwise I would have given in. CES 2017 is right around the corner and with new TVs being announced, prices for last years will drop slowly. But mega heat for this price. Nice set indeed.

How did you go about your pro calibration? Did you do it yourself with a guide or have a professional do it for you? Looking to get one of these and obviously want to get the best picture possible. Happy to play around with the settings myself but the more advice I can get from erudite individuals, the better!

Expect the replacement sets to be announced at CES over the next few days. Heat for this deal, but expect this price to become standard over the next few weeks.

This shop is just down the road from the office and I'd love this telly, but really must resist. Bought last telly ("40 LED/LCD Samsung) back in 2009 for £1200 so really don't want to spend more than that.

Returned this to Currys which I picked up for £1575.00, up scale is very poor bloated images on sd channels, 1080p on this is like sd, and 4k is like 1080p, unless you can get lots of 4k content not a good choice, with LG known for poor support and am not a fan of webos. And someone has said lags too, and you need the remote to bring it out of standby, switching on devices didn't do it.

These where going for over £2200 before sale and such a large TV you only get 2 3D glasses not good for a family.

Currys support was amazing though and they took it back and issued full refund

My search goes on and will not buy above 43".

Not sure why you would be receiving 2 pairs of 3D glasses with a TV with no 3D support; are you talking about the same model?. LG don't have the best in class upscaling but the real issue is OLED is too unforgiving with poor source material. Callibration does make a big difference though. As for the comment about 4K looking like 1080p - something is clearly wrong with that.

But this TV is not 3D at all .. think you're mixing up the model.

At the risk of being a bit snobby it's still a lot of money for something that starts off with LG written on it.......just sayin......:)

Good price, wonder how low these will go; I would be happy with the non 4k model so on the lookout for a good deal on that one - ideally £800 - £850 with 5 yrs warranty though with the recent sterling devaluation that could be unrealistic now.

It's only a letter in between an easy mistake to make. Still relevant and hope someone finds feedback useful.

Im very tempted, this is cheaper for me in the long run. Panny plasma goes upstairs and this for the living room. Better than £700 of a 65 lcd then £900 on an oled when they drop. Hmmm
