After being bitterly disappointed that I missed out on the currys £1350 deal late last week, I was very close to buying at £1499 as I heard the major retailers are now discountinuing the older 2016 range.

I saw the price on Crampton and Moore site and nearly bit the bullet but have had an issue with large fragile TV's being home delivered in the past so rang Richer Sounds in Swiss Cottage to see if they'd price match. 5 minutes later they came back after checking and confirmed they could and also honour their price promise and beat it by £20.

They even offer a 6 year warranty.

Maybe because it'd been as low as £1,350 in the past week?Maybe potential buyers are well aware of RS price match policy?Getting mine tomorrow, hopefully. £1,519 with a free £350 4K Player

Where is that from?
Muppets voting this deal cold, the best value TV on the market at the moment.

I got one last week in the £1350 deal, absolutely stunning TV, that isn't available anymore so this is a great deal.

I bought a 55UH770V a few weeks ago and returned it after seeing this one nose diving in price and the difference in quality would be clear to Mr Magoo

Some flame for you OP.

Thanks - this is my first post, and considering this is a model which is not being restocked anymore AND only £30 more than the lowest historical price (which gain quite some heat) I thought this was a cracking deal.

Plus some would say RS's warranty is better than a manufactures warranty, on top of offering an extra years cover, is worth the extra £30!
Do you think this will go any lower?

My local currys were selling their display model of the 65" B6, and richer sounds also confirmed that it's a discontinued model now with the 2017 range being stocked. Personally, I took that as a last chance saloon to get this panel. The 2017 range are still at the £3k price point which is out of my budget.

Ultimately it's up to you to wait and see, but for me it wasn't worth the risk to save £50-100.
Unfortunately the rabid cold voters have escaped from HUKD jail and are running riot today

Are you going to copy and paste the same reply into every cold deal?
Heat from me, one of the best prices currently.

With regards to this and the C6 being discontinued, it is interesting that people are still receiving TV's that have been manufactured recently. For example my C6 purchased 3 weeks ago is an April 17 build and I know of a couple of people on other forums who have received B and C6's with May 17 builds.
I would imagine that with the C6 being a Currys exclusive they will have been contracted to take so many units and still have not reached the contracted amount.
I would also imagine the C6 may become even cheaper.
I called in at Currys last week and they had over a 1000 of the 55 inch version in stock at the warehouse.
Plus alot of the stores have stock as well.

I was just wondering is the C6 the curved one?

You sound like you know a lot about tv's, so I just wondered if you knew whether these LG oled's get screen burn and if so is it covered by the 5 year warranty? Thanks
