if you already have sky q do you just get your bills knocked off for a year or is it hard luck? seems a bit unfair if so

£1599 currys with no soundbar! at the Solihull store and the c6 is the same price.

doubt they would cancel your current contract, maybe add it to the following year?

What's unfair about it?

When it will be 1499 or below

Hopefully when the soundbar offer ends it'll drop further.

Slowly coming down as 2017 models will be released soon. Still hot

Sound bar promo is due to end 31st March so let's see what happens then.

12 months ago i made a comment that OLED TV's would be under £1500.00 in 12 months, I cannot tell you how much abuse I received for those comments I was told they would not be below 2-3k for years yet.. yet no one is going to say i told you so other than me!

Their forgetting Oled is suppose to be standard, its expensive now because its new technology and you're funding research, basically you're a beta tester for the future standard item

Oled and 4k arent suppose to be some special features their standard, soon we'll see that

Finally recognition

Not sure if the new 2017 TVs will impact prices because the B7 will launch at the £3000 RRP. Once people realise the B6 -> B7 is hardly a jump the existing stock of B6 at £1700 will look very appealing and the last remaining sets will get snapped up.

Might even go up in price I'm thinking.

My god you should be on the stock markets. True brilliance.

But sorry to burst your bubble - this is still over £1500 and if you made the comment 12 months ago for what was gonna happen in 12 months, you've failed. Unless you're talking 1080p of course. In which case it'd be hard to track those moving goalposts with human eyes.

the superiority of OLED to LCD (LCD,LED backlit and marketing nonsense gimmick deceptions from samsung like QLED -same old lcd-) is so vast and noticeable.

worth paying the extra £80 for 5yr warranty

What ever you do make sure you buy this with a 5 warranty, I'm in the repair sector and Lg aren't the most reliable , we would be a lot quieter at work without LG repairs , mainly screen faults, as good as the picture is I wouldn't touch one without a good warranty or if it was super cheap and the savings paid for appliance insurance ..

Oh and make sure you leave it in standbye as the tv runs a screen burn cleaner, if you switch off at the plug at night and get screen burn LG won't repair, it's easy to tell through the service menu how the tv has been powered off ..

Well yeah, this is a better model (4K HDR etc).. but he said 'oled tv's' so still accurate.

Got one last week for £1799 with free sound bar & free 6 year warrant from Richer Sounds.
Fantastic TV, couldn't be happier.

Lol pairing a £1700 TV with a soundbar.
Reminds me of the time I glued a cardboard spoiler onto my Ferrari.
