If it was 65 wouldn't think 1 min will buy it right away

I’d be in that same queue without even thinking about (a) how I disguise this as the existing 42” Panasonic plasma thus avoiding the inevitable “wife conversation” (b) where I’d get the spare money in the run up to xmas due to having two children that still believe in Father Christmas and think they are doing me a favour by asking him to stump up their lavish gifts and leave me to buy the cheap ‘books’

Ok... so do I go for a 55 inch lg oled or a 65 inch Sony xe9005

That sony is LED, so if you watch anything with dark scenes/blacks..then the OLED, no question. No LED/LCD TV in the world can match the picture quality of an OLED in darker scenes..if its a choice between the two, go for the LG.

Great price - I would buy it from Richer Sounds rather than Amazon tbh (and well I did, but at £1580 3 weeks ago) but regardless of the retailer, its a stunning TV.

I’m sure we won’t see the equivalent and this is a good price but it could just be worth hanging on a few more days.

We are seeing the equivalent. This set is $1599 on sale in the US, which works out at approx £1210. Add on the VAT and the price is £1452. Add on import duty/cost of business and you are looking at about £1500.

I paid 2k for mine with a 1 year warranty. Very hot!!

Could do with Currys price matching and being able to apply their code on top!

LG OLED65B7V 65 inch Premium 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart OLED TV (2017 Model) amazon.co.uk/dp/…T1K

65” matching the Curry’s code price.

I was hoping for a bigger drop than that tbh. Ahh well, still the cheapest its been (I think)

Heat added

This price with a 10% code and I'll jump

voted hot thinking it was the 65 inch... can someone counter it for me please?

Add code lstv10

That'll match up

Cold. The Compton and Moore at 1499 with 5 year g/t is the real deal

Good price but comparing the prices of this at 65 inch model tv to the US prices makes you want to cry.

It's about 40% cheaper!!!

Is that a Currys 10% off code

Is this the one that is £1599 at Richer Sounds? If so, they will take another £100 off with the TV100 code.

Sadly amazon won’t deliver this to Northern Ireland so I’m waiting on curry’s

Buy from Amazon or Richer Sounds? I think I know who most would choose - even it costs £30 more.

I just want John Lewis to price match, and then I'll use their 28 day match guarantee to shave a bit more off (hopeful it drops a little more)

Currys created the price with the discount. Amazon have matched it. I meant if Currys now matched 1,529 and then allowed you to use the 10% on top! :-)

LOL... That's a joke

Let's wait for BF?

Why? 6 Year guarantee and great customer service from them/

Ok... so do I go for a 55 inch lg oled or a 65 inch Sony xe9005

Not too up to date with TVs, i see lots of 55" 4k around £600 and i see 8bit / 10bit mentioned

Is 10bit a lot better?

Oled out of my price range but if any of these 10bits go cheap ill buy

Nope.
Tax/VAT is already included in the Amazon US price.
It's even cheaper if you live in Alaska

Give Basil Knipe electrics in ballymoney a call 02827649222 . They have it at £1499 with the 5 year warranty and free delivery in Northern Ireland

nice price. My will bent at £1800 24 days ago. Should of waited but I was hyped to be ready for the xbox one x

It was £2k 3months ago 1800 1month ago now it's 1500 circa. This will be reduced to 1400 in a week I reckon. Then I will pounce.

Ahhh! Hoping for around the 1250 mark! Close...

Much prefer the b7 base though!
