Back to down near the Black Friday price with 0% interest finance for 12 months and 5yr guarantee. Decent!

Quidco do 2.2% cashback, but I've not included it as I find sale items don't always qualify for cashback.

@Evoflash thanks for posting the deal. Do you reckon it's better to wait until after Christmas though (if you don't need one right now)?
Plus £10 of your 1st order if you sign up to there new letter/Emails or so it said when i went to this website

Edit:
Also i found these LG OLED55B7V Best TV Picture Settings: to be spot on apart from I like my screen a little bit brighter

Wonder if this would qualify a John Lewis price match?

Should do, if it's an actual shop. Richer Sounds should also match it. And they offer a 6 year guarantee. :-)

I think these are the first to blink. There were some Black Friday deals down below £1400 but they were all out of stock within an hour as I hunted them. I'm tempted by this deal and will probably go for it after Christmas calms down if there is no better.
Don't forget CES is just round the corner when all the new sets will be shown off. As a results they will be trying to shift this years stock around that time.

Yes, this is likely to come down further. But I'm going to grab one from RS for Christmas! I think £1500 is OK for such a good, well future proofed TV with a long guarantee period (and 10 months to pay it off). And I want to catch that Blue Planet 2 in 4K HDR on iPlayer before it disappears! :-)
@Evoflash - A meta question if I may - how do you find deals like this? Obviously I'm relying on HUKD here, but I'm wondering how people source them in the first place? Are you just manually checking a few websites?

I received a notification from PriceSpy.co.uk for this one. I have the app on my phone set up to watch certain products of interest.
i am going to wait a tad bit more
Very tempted... are Simply Electricals pretty reliable? Trying a JL Pricematch too... this model has been out of stock in a lot of places so I'm cautious of waiting until January and struggling to find stock. Heat added!

Everyone said the exact same thing last year with the B6, C6 etc.. and the only thing that happened was the models went out of stock everywhere. There is only so low they can go to still maintain a profit.
Simply Electricals are decent, I’ve used them before. For something as expensive and hit and miss as this though I’d use only Richer Sounds or JL you realise their worth when something goes wrong...
AO.com have matched the price too.

AO.com have matched the price too.

Still showing as £1799 for me? Or did you have to call to get that?
To Father Christmas...
One of these please
Edited by: "rev6" 21st Dec 2017
I think these will drop to £1300ish in January. Going to hold on but great deal and heat added
AO.com look like they only offer 1 year warranty rather than 5 years with nearly everyone else...?

Sorry, didn't click on the link. I was looking for reviews. You're right but this screenshot may help for a reduction
Bought mine from Richer Sounds for £1300. Amazing tv. Still a good price at £1500 though. Probably will go down to £1300 towards end of January.

May I ask when/how? It's on for £1799 at the moment richersounds.com/lg-…tml
Bit at £1,479 with Richer Sounds 'Price Beat' ... includes a 6 year warranty too! Thanks again Op - was considering paying £1,799 at Currys so this is a great saving.
In case it helps anyone, JL will definitely price match this - just had confirmation.
Bought a lg 55 inch mid range 2016 model this time last year for 780 quid the Xbox x looks fantastic but I know it will look alot better on this bad boy .... I actually think I'm.addicted to tvs .... tempted to get this best not tell the Mrs just yet
I can also confirm John Lewis will price match this. Going to collect mine now
John Lewis will price match just had it confirmed
JL price matched me too - but I'm going to sit on it until early Jan (it's valid for 28 days).

EDIT - Actually, I decided to just order it for delivery early next year. That way I can ensure I don't miss out on stock, and I can still price match any better boxing day deals.

Sorry, should of said when I bought it in original comment.
Was 2 weeks before Black Friday. It’s kept being reduced so I kept getting money back from RS. Then the weekend of Black Friday curry’s did an extra 10% off so I price matched it for the final time. Complained to customer service and they knocked more money off for the troubles.
I’ve just set mine up and wow what an incredible improvement over my 5 year old plasma. Highly recommend this tv

My 50" LG plasma is about 4 years old
Would the tv in this deal be a good upgrade then?
I would like a 65" oled tele but they are very expensive

I saw the Panasonic Panasonic TX-55EZ952B today at Costco and I must say the quality of the screen was just as stunning as the LG set up next to it but priced at £1680. Design wise the Panasonic looked much better. Didn’t have a chance to use the remote to test the OS but reviews seem to say it’s simple and does the job. Anyone have experience of both?

I see. Thanks mate. Will hold a bit longer for a good deal on the E7. Really want something with the better sound.

Interesting reading if you are considering an oled.

Was considering this set but I don't know if I can be bothered with the worry of burn in, especially with so many channels with obnoxiously opaque logos these days. I realise these tests are extreme, but there are comments and real life examples at the bottom that are putting me right off. Oh well, back to the xe90 I guess.

No worries. My opinion, get the B7 and use the saved money for a soundbar. …No worries. My opinion, get the B7 and use the saved money for a soundbar. The LG OLED sound is poor, even on the E7 and a dedicated Soundbar will vastly improve things. You're paying for that poor soundbar with the E7.

Any good sound bars with Atmos that you can recommend?

I’m being optimistic hoping the E7 will go down close to this price since quite a lot of lucky peeps managed to get it for £1499 after Cashback and price matching.

If you can install a separates package (av receiver and speakers) then you …If you can install a separates package (av receiver and speakers) then you can have Atmos that will be fantastic. That would cost less than the starter Atmos bars, the K950 and up are classed, in my mind as Atmos setups as they have rear channels. (K850 does not and is heavily front loaded)The K950 is very expensive, if you can install an AV package, do it! It's night and day. The E7 "Atmos" experience is really not worth the premium. It's more like rain hitting your bonnet than the roof.

That’s the thing, I’m not too keen on too much faffing about with more gear. Just want a simple tv setup with better than average sound without spending more money on amps and speakers and cabling.

I'm tempted by the XE9305 due to the HDR brightness. I'm fearing that I'll heavily miss the blacks of my OLED though.

It's an odd one from sony, the xe90 is direct lit bit the xe93 is edge lit. I was always under the impression that direct lit was preferable! I have a 2012 Panasonic plasma so anything is bound to be an improvement at this stage :-) the GT50 was a great set in its day though.

Also it's IB not IR that I'm concerned about, unlike my plasma where I run my "commodore 64 loading screen" disc every now and again to even the IR out, the organic material in OLEDs actually degrades and the only thing you can do is degrade the rest to match lowering the overall brightness of the screen. Now in practical, real life examples these things can be hit and miss, depending on usage. But as a long term plasma user id rather be shot of the concern. Also I'm saying this more to convince myself as I realise the LG will have a better picture.
