It's usually '£1400 and I'll bite' or 'if only it had a long warranty' or 'if only it was from a trustworthy retailer'...go on, impress me!

I can’t seem to fathom why it’s an extra £1100 for the extra 10”, you can almost buy two 55”s for the same price.

Generally the bigger the panel the less successful yield rates you get, so you pay more for the bigger panels as the manufacturing process produces more duff ones at 65".

Also works for 65". How about if only it was cheaper than last year's black Friday deals now the 2018 models are getting released.

Lots of heat great deal, just need a bigger penny jar to pay for what I want
Superb TV and much cheaper than the new 2018 models that only offer limited benefits, in my opinion.

Richer Sounds don’t appear to have many left in stock - typically 1 or 2 at each store, but they do have some open box (customer returns) and refurb models in some stores if you want any even better deal.
Yes the new 2018 model is overpriced as always for the UK market. It's so much cheaper in Europe already. Have a look at avforums chat about this

I reckon... we'll see £1299 but availability will be limited. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see stock issues arising over the next 2-4 weeks, particularly due to the World Cup. (Not sure where the bundle deals are this year, back in 2017 there were Sky Q and Soundbars to factor into the price).

£1399 is a great price with a 6 year warranty and likely a sensible time to buy. Anyone willing to take the gamble could save a bit more

I was one of the lucky ones to get the E7 for £1,099 with a 5 year warranty in November, but even the B7 would be well worth £1,399. Wonderful TV.

Thanks great find just ordered online to collect in store
What's the difference between this and the c7?

Brilliant answer, thank you. Makes perfect sense now, as the jump to 75” goes off the scale!!
Just ordered one for upstairs. Cheers.
Wife thinks our old 42" LCD is plenty big enough !

The stand is rectangular and not crescent-shaped and the bevel around the tv is black and not silver. You can only really get the C7 from Currys or RS.

If i can get the C7 from RS in 65inch form for 2399, I'm buying today! Been tracking these prices for a few weeks now, this is the cheapest it’s got to. It may well drop a bit further still but I fear the C7 stock will disappear (E7 model in 65 has already sold out at RS and they’re not getting any more in).

Exactly. According to IHS research, 46inch is the optimal point for an OLED, but the cost compare to equivalent 46 inch LED means its not worth producing at that screen level. The bigger the screen, the lower the yield (higher waste) hence a much higher price.
Anyone on the fence with this should act now, its the same every year, this is probably the lowest it will go before stock runs out and your left with the 2018 models. Got mine for £1349 with 5 yrs black friday week and it is a sublime TV.
I would wait until June just before the world cup starts might be better deals to come

Well Curry's pc world is £1450 with a £50 voucher that you need to add. With Quidco 6% cashback that's effectively just less than £1365. Enjoy your new telly!!!!!
Thought these bad boys were long gone by now, Prefer the C7 stand though Didn’t know Richer Sounds sold the C7 thought it was curry’s

To be fair, if my Mrs wasn't as ferocious as a honey badger I'd probably go for this.

While I agree with this the biggest factor with pricing on nearly all goods we buy is marketing and the maximum price the market will take. It’s a balance between maximum price before sales fall off a cliff. This will be set by the manufacturer.

Oh I know, I have the scalpal out ready to remove a kidney so I can get the extra money for the 65". It really is so tempting I had waited so long as I stupidly thought LG would release the new ones with a sensible pricing structure like in Europe but that does not look likely AVForums I expected the B range to be out by now though. I am in Glasgow in a weeks time think I will have to pop into Richer Sounds and have a chat AGAIN !
I was in the same predicament. Can’t be bothered to wait any longer as I’m missing out whilst I do and it’s a risk they’ll just not sell them soon! Going for the 65 right now!
When I got mine 2 months ago, RS had 500 in stock.

Pull the trigger.
I’m in a situation we’re I think 55” will be just to big for the space we’re the set is but I really want to go OLED
Currently got a 42” Panasonic Plasma but think I could stretch to possibly 50” as the new sets don’t have the wide bezels around the screen these days.
Would 55” be way to much and look stupid.
Would Richer sounds take it back if it was to big for space and give full refund.
Would be great if they did Home visits to check that it would fit on my av unit

They'd take it back, less a 10% restocking fee to cover it being an open boxed item.

But, like Rob said... take out your dummy and measure it up, get some cardboard, make the same sized rectangle and hold it in place...

What relevance to this deal (for a B7V) does that have?

They had 500 of the deal product, I tend to comment on the deal product y'know?

The C7 is awful for reflection from the stand, which I presume you intend to use.
