Its gonna get hot in here. Not so sure about argos warranty but if john lewis or richersounds will price match it could be hitting the jackpot.

Word of warning : I purchased this telly on the currys deal and had to return the set due to vertical lines. There does seem to be an awful lot of bad sets going around. Great picture quality tho

just ordered It seems there is an error as states 1799 but when added to the basket goes gets added as 1699. With an additional 10% off is a bargain. Seems they have caught on as can no longer be ordered for home delivery.

What are the chances do we think of the 65" version going down to the £2000 mark over Black Friday?

Do you think it's worth waiting for January sales? I want the 65" and want to pay over a year with Argos. Can't really (if I'm responsible) afford to get it yet.

Just tried to price match with John Lewis, fingers crossed! I couldn’t spend this amount of money and only have a one year warranty, a bit too risky for me!

Out of interest, did you get a replacement one? And if so, is that all ok and are you happy with it?

Over £1500 for Tv with 1 year warranty ?... and John Lewis will NOT price match Argos price after code

Great price but like others have said, JL warranty would be ideal. I think Curry’s would price match too? Noticed Amazon’s price has dropped slightly as well so fingers crossed for a black friday drop below £1500, although this is very tempting!!

Could also chance 3% TCB but not guaranteed with use of the code.

Looks like max147 is a new name for discoman(and other names banned after some time)... ha, ha

If Richer Sounds would match this with 6 yr warranty this would be immense!

Did you exchange it for another one or get your money back? I really want a c7 but a bit worries getting it from currys and their return policy if I get a dud one

Good deal but the design is little bland for my taste.

Replacement is being delivered and dud is getting collected on friday. There was no issue or hassle involved, save for me having to box the tv back up. Im hoping its just bad luck because the oled was amazing

A short while ago I bought a 4K LG TV from Currys, within a couple of days I noticed horizontal lines. Called them up, they had a new one delivered to the store nearest to me and I just had to go in and swap them over. No fuss, no bother. I had originally bought it from a store quite a way away, so I was happy they said I could do the exchange at my local.

Use code TVS10 to save 10% on this....

Good deal but with Black Friday in a couple of weeks I will hold for now.
Also I prefer the stand of the C7V

I've heard that LG E6 are much superior (Better brightness, 3D and better sound) than B6 models, has anyone compared both and any deals for OLED55E6V ?

Its true the E6 was a better panel than the B6, but they were lasts years models. B7,C7,E7 all share the same panel now, no difference in picture.

Currys and John Lewis dropped their prices to £1699 with the extra warranty

personally wouldnt even think of buying a set of this quality from Argos. John Lewis or Richer sounds only

Totally agree the stand on the C7 is way better but unfortunately this is only exclusive to Curry's of all places. Shame Richer Sounds or John Lewis dont stock it

The frame is also in black too rather than silver. I want the C7 as it matches my entertainment furniture and speakers which are both black.

Thanks for that. So I'm now trying to decide between E7 vs B7. Understand that they're use same panels and the only difference I can see is the built in sound bar in E7 so is it worth going for that over B7. Is the hardware and software same for the two ? I've been looking for a decent comparison review but couldn't find one.

Richer sounds do stock the C7, they aren't allowed to advertise it but they do have it.

I've noticed some horizontal lines when on a static dark grey screen, not noticeable in actual use but wondering if I should return and get a replacement - is this similar to what you saw? Would be keen to know if your replacement has the same thing or not.

Just spoken to Richer Sounds, they won't price match with Argos's discount code value. Because the TV comes with only 1 years warranty. But they will price match the value of £1699. Which is still good! I'm gonna wait for Black Friday

The E6 is last years model. Very much doubt you'll get an E6 now. I'd take the E6 over this if it was available for the 3D is amazing on my C6.

Richer Sounds have, I bought the C7 with them. You just need to call. And they will price match this... I paid £1599.

Over the years, many OLEDs have suffered banding as you describe, particularly on a grey screen. If you only see this on a grey screen you might be OK. If you see this on content, it needs to go back. Make sure you do this straight away.

Thanks, it's *probably* OK then, I have 2 relatives with OLED LGs so I might go and compare with theirs - it might just be me looking for an issue, rather than an issue being noticeable

Voted hot on this deal, fantastic price

Reading the issue again, you said you are seeing horizontal banding? The issues I describe in the past have all been vertical banding. I suspect you have a fault.

I don't know why I wrote horizontal, I meant vertical

Whats the difference between this and the OLED55B6V?

Bought last week using the discount code but at £1799 start price . Nevertheless, awesome tv. I have tried out 3 different TV over the past 2 months and this is by far the best in terms of picture quality and interface. Sony Bravia has an equally nice picture but the interface (Andriod) is seriously rubbish! Slow and unintuitive.

It’s an expensive purchase, but for me, its a 4 year investment therefore the price is a little more acceptable!(ninja)
