Ask Curry's to price match and if you have employee corporate discount you can get 8% cashback making my deal cheaper than this.
The same price as PRC Direct.
What's the warranty?
Anybody ever got JL to price-match an in-store only price?

Anybody ever got JL to price-match an in-store only price?

I know people that did, but don’t bother calling the JL customer service nor online, just go to your local JL and give them the store in question phone number to check the price, they will do that while you wait and price match for you now and then.
If that's a ex demo screen, don't do it.
Fantastic TV.
are they any good ?

JL have priced matched this for me today via online form for £1399.00. Just make sure you choose "seen in store" and that you put the Trafford centre address details and phone number in. I got confirmation just now after doing this last night.

I tried that, JL came back and quoted their online price and would not match store price. Depends who you get I suppose. I’ll try again.
Humm - I got a denied as well. Just talked about "matching in store" as my only option - haven't got time for that at the moment.
Oh well, JL loss.

If anyone gives a fig (just me possibly) here are details of the new 2018 models compared to this (much cheaper) 2017 model

LG's 2018 OLED TV line-up consists of W8, G8, E8, C8 and B8 ranges, with all bar B8 powered by a new Alpha 9 picture processor (B8 uses a new version of LG's Alpha 7 processor). LG's gone big on picture enhancement this year, with claimed improvements in noise reduction, depth enhancement and colour reproduction. Also new for 2018 is support for high frame rates up to 120fps (frames per second).

LG has also added dynamic processing to HDR formats HDR 10 and HLG - both of these tend to use static metadata but LG claims HLG Pro and HDR 10 Pro will be able to enhance the picture quality of these two formats even further.

Don’t forget black frame insertion, finally.

120fps only on apps supporting it. Would love latest hdmi that supports it though so will miss this gen
Just been in and they've put the price up to £1799
Yeah, its back to that price pretty much everywhere...
There's been a mad rush to buy them created by online so retailers have bumped up, now they won't sell many at all
It's available for £1409.99 from richersounds. Just get them to price beat Drakedisplays.com (codes sale50 and sale20 stack to take £70 off normal £1499.99 price) then RS take off another £20
Add SALE100 for a further £100 off. Only works on the 55", and not the 65" though

Also keep in mind the new stuff will have nothing to support it for years. The image processing won't be that big of a difference (sport i guess?). The only big thing is black frame thing.

Richer won't PM that site for me, telling me the site is too fishy.
Does anyone have a JL price match for this tv that they want to pass onto to me? Obviously if you’re not interested in the telly anymore.
