Freezing cold!!!!
These were £1499 (and occasionally less with short-term deals) most places for ages until about a week ago, when they all put them back up by £100-300. Bad time to be buying one.
Cold was £1,350 most places before Xmas
But it's still the best deal right now tho?

I’ll add them too my curlwurly and black jack shopping list
I got the 55" E7 for £1500 from Crampton and Moore before Xmas. Great service from them. The delivery service (BJS) was uniquely thorough: 2h window, call 30mins before to confirm, a two-man team bringing it in, unpacking it and helping me set it up. They even had their manager call me in their presence to check whether I was happy with everything!
No point discussing what these were over black friday and xmas. The fact is now they have shot the price up and stock is running dry. They know these sell like hot cakes so why wouldnt they

Agreed I have tracked oled's for a few years to buy one, you would think they would significantly come down in price before the launch of a new model but they don't , they keep stock low to keep price high. The best time to buy an oled is black Friday, I got a c7 this year at £1245. Christmas, Jan sales, pre new model launch never as good as black Friday .

Yeah I have learnt this too this year :-(
Hot TV but cold price.
It might be the bet price now, but the TV simply isn’t worth 1,600 quid. It’s good, it’s not THAT good.
Hence cold. Hence not a good deal.

What would be the best tv for this price range at the moment? I thought oled LG was right up there at the moment
Cold I'm not paying £3 for deliver
Voting cold - as mentioned by others, this TV was sub £1400 around Christmas, and £1500 for a while after that, so £1599 isn't very attractive IMO.

Remember this is HotUKDeals, and not HotUKCheapestPriceRightNow, before I get hit with the time machine comments.
If you want to buy this TV today this is the best price. Therefore a hot deal ...the coments are useful to put the price in context.

The new models are out in a couple of months, so hopefully price will fall enough to justify the purchase

Yeah I don’t get the cold votes, if it’s currently one of the cheapest price, then surely that’s a hot deal. Maybe HUKD need to have an option of ‘Neutral’
Probably because more people think a 'deal' reflects what a product is worth (and historical prices over the past 6 months is pretty reflective of that) rather than what's the current lowest price. Plenty of sites dedicated to that. In my opinion hotukdeals shouldn't be one of them
This is a great TV, and it may be the cheapest available price right now, but it has been significantly cheaper recently. This post may be useful for someone that absolutely has to have one right now, but this isn't a good deal.
These are around 300 quid cheaper in France and Germany. Are we seeing the early benefits of brexit here?

Just did a search in the equivalent French and German sites (links at the bottom of this page). This was the best price I found.dealabs.com/bon…789
Hopefully we’ll see similar prices here in the near future
