Been looking at this for a while and think it's got to the point where I'm going to bite - Down now to £1324 with the PCT75 code which is a good price, but it's double discount for eligible members (staff, possibly students) which takes it down even further for the next couple of days.

Some people may be put off by the warranty, but you may be able to use this to get a price match at another retailer.

Glad to see the price moving in the right direction again. Hoping for some sensible offers from RS and similar
I've had this TV from Richer Sounds since black friday. Absolutely love it. Watching Blue Planet 2 in 4k on bbci player is just breathtaking imo. (deals with sd well and hd looks brilliant too)
How do you apply the membership discount?
I put my number in but the total remained £1324.
Wow - that's really good. @primoo - how did you find this offer (and the code) please?
same boat as above
the code is clear in the title and desc. but seen as it was missed PCT75

Thanks. Do you have any image retention issues with this B7 series set (have seen some reports with the B6)?

Got the PCT75 code off another thread on this site - then tried my Membership number and it knocked another 10% off. Not sure if the membership discount is available to everyone, or just those eligible for discount normally.
Fantastic deal. Heat added(highfive)

No it seems to be member specific as only knocks £75 off

Heat

Does anyone think we'll see £1100-1200 this side of the year from the likes of RS/JL?

This time last year I purchased the Samsung KS7000 (excellent bang for buck 10BIT HDR TV) and I'd like to buy an OLED for the spare room that I want to turn into the cinema room.

Not as of yet. I'm very aware of the issue in terms of discussion and do keep an eye out. I was streaming music to my receiver and had it on screen for a good few hours which meant some static whites on black. I did change the picture once, out of paranoia I suppose, but have not seen a hint of retention so far. It has a couple of settings which help (I'm told). one runs a wipe when in standby and the other displaces the picture by a couple of pixels to mix it up.

Will this work for an extra discount for those that aren't currently members?

No instant membership discount for me when i entered my personal number.... . still a great price and heated
Edited by: "cadmus" 22nd Dec 2017
My membership code knocked nothing else off. Although I'm not staff or a student, just a "shareholder".

If I could get that extra 10% I'd definitely bite.

I have that type of membership and it does nothing else. No more discount.
2% quidco too
We just have a regular consumer Co-op points card. On the basket page it says "You will now earn 5% for you and 1% for your community on eligible products in your order. You can also spend your member reward. You'll see this option in step 4 of the checkout. "

It doesn't seem to apply any discount though, so I assume that's just 5% points?

I don’t think you will get 2% Quidco if you use code !
Best I've seen apart from this is also £1399.00 on boxing day at Sonicdirect
Edited by: "amoulden" 22nd Dec 2017
John Lewis are so fast now responding to price match. They'll match the £1399, but not the extra with the code:

"I am unable to locate the code PCT75 on the Co-Op Electrical Site, in order for a discount code to be valid for match it must be publicly available to all customers, either via the main web page or on the item purchase page. I cannot approve codes that are only available for a web mailing list or third party website."

Is screen burn really any issue? Whether it's true I don't know but LG rep said tv does intelligent pixel shift on images that remain static.
Was waiting for this one,but pushed the button to early as usualon the Sony one the other day, best I've seen on this was £1350 at Crampton and Moore on Black Friday so this is a decent deal.
entering my membership number did nothing , i wonder how they decide to give certain people 10% off.

What guarantee does Co-op provide?
just ordered from john lewis on a black friday price match offer. when currys were doing it for £1350. the price match lasts for 28 days so waited until yesterday to order. thing is i've still got another 28 days to submit another price match request if it gets cheaper elsewhere over the holiday. hope so
Great price but I'm after the C7,has anyone seen the C7 go this low?

They are testing the B6. Many people saying they don't have issues, many saying they do.

LG don't cover screen burn in their warranty, make of that what you will.

Not great, better to get a John Lewis price match.
It does surprise me still how lenient John Lewis are with price match. I mean, in a way they are not trading on their strengths. Not that I’m complaining.
I’ve had a b6 for a year and play PS4 regularly and watch nextflix etc - haven’t noticed any burn in whatsoever so was quite surprised to read it’s been reported as an issue .

To be fair I’m sure it can happen to any tv like this but I wouldn’t overly worry about it, just turn it off if you’re not using it!

Yes, I did request it, but they only matched the base price, not the extra £75 for the code.
Just ordered from John Lewis for price match at 1399 !
excellent!! cheers!!
