Looking for OLED65B7V around £2100/2200.
Front page of the site says the current price is until 29/03/18
Cold. Amazon selling equivalent 2016 model for less than half price. Okay it’s an older model, but the panels are the same.

If any arrive in stock, quite where they are expecting to magic up units not produced in the last year I don't know. Better processor and more importantly, automatic screen retention cleaning in the 2017 models. Personally I don't find any possibility of screen burn acceptable. If however you do, you should at least give yourself a chance and buy a 2017 model that attempts to mitigate that issue. So no, not cold based on your suggestion.

If you don't find *any* possibility of IR or SB acceptable then you need shouldn't be buying any OLED screen. Period.

rtings long term test would be enough to have you walk away.

I love this app! SERIOUSLY TEMPTED! Do you think this price will get any lower? Crystal balls accepted!
Has been down to £1300 previously and the new 2018 models should be out next month...personally I'd wait for at least another £200 reduction...

Did the B6 and C6 go that low though?
You can get the Sony 9005 55inch for £919 with this code plus another £10 off for being a VIP member with 6 year warranty...

You said you were waiting for the 7 series (2017) to fall to a certain price, so I asked if the 6 series (2016) fell to that price (if it didn't then maybe 2017 ones won't either), so how does your post have anything to do with that?

Oled is cheaper this year then it was last which is why they are selling like hot cakes. They will sell out before they drop much lower!

According to pricespy the lowest the B6 went was £1399 and that wasn't before it sold out.

That was my point. Don't wait for it to fall any lower when historically it isn't likely to.

Also did u mean £1019? As that's all it's discounted too after the £80 off
Yes you're right...sorry maths wasn't ever my strong point...still think £1019 is about £100 too much...if gets under a grand I'd bite...hopefully with the new Sony models coming out now, the price of the 2017 range will drop...

No worries I really don't know if it will drop that low I've seen refurbished units for £849.. I'm so close think im gonna go for the Samsung 55mu7000 instead £749
Know what you mean...Sony has been as low as £999 in the past though...and it is local dimming compared to the Sammy's edge lit...but they're £200 apart...

Yeah the Sony does have a better panel. But the difference price is swaying towards the Sammy. I did recently purchase the Panasonic ex700b was so underwhelmed even tho that was decent price just wasn't for me..
RLDistribution are doing the Samsung for £745 maybe JL or RS will price match for you? Think there's an offer for an England football shirt and money off a UHD player or soundbar too...trouble is for me I'm coming off a Panasonic plasma screen so I'm used to a brilliant picture...may have to ride things out till the Sony comes into my price bracket...

Cheers yeah saw that promotion not fussed on the England shirt tho. But yeah I get you coming from decent plasma you really need to get Sony panel quality or oled. Decisions... I've been waiting for a TV for over a year just don't want to regret it lucky john Lewis are collecting my Panasonic ex700b for a refund
JL are brilliant like that...have you looked at the 750b model...that's a 10 bit panel that gets good reviews...probably a bit pricier than the Sammy though

Yeah I looked at that but really don't like the TV stand I can't wall mount too. The guy in Curry's yesterday mentioned this Easter weekend there's possibly some amazing offers so I mite wait I just got a price match for the Sammy for £725 very tempted will get it delivered Tuesday at the earliest
Where did you get your Sammy price match from? That's not a bad price

JL price match lasts 28days so will do you no harm to wait and see what happens over Easter
Agree with you about the 750b stand...it's effectively a floor stand and not suitable for a glass top cabinet style...stupid really, they should have put a pair of legs like the 700b design in the set as an alternative...
Definitely it's a very odd design! Gotta admit the 700b looks stunning ashame really. Was very reflective tho. The LG oled and Sony 9005 do look great
Can you use the voucher instore?

2% Quidco is £28.38 if you register with Quidco offer and use that card instore - brings it to under £1400!!

Sadly that's only about £200 more than it's true worth...no value at this price for a soon to be redundant model...
