I’m really tempted but unsure about the manufacturer refurbished part. It’s a bit of a gamble for £800. Voted hot as it’s a great price for the b8 but it’s an OLED with 1 year warranty. That’s the only part I’m concerned with. Can anyone help me out?! Convince me to buy it or not?!

I wouldn't buy a TV with a 1 year warranty brand new, let alone refurbished. Also being OLED is another factor, you don't know how well they've been treated (burn-in, etc).
1 year warranty. No thanks...
Its one year warranty for a reason :P
I purchased a Samsung ks9000 refurb and I'd never again. Buy new, I.e. John Lewis, pay the extra and help yourself away from the grief.
Please stay away from any OLED refurb! I'm an OLED owner and any OLED enthusiast will urge you to spend extra and buy new.
Playing devil's advocate, I bought a Panasonic OLED refurb from Panasonic eBay. Arrived in perfect condition, no screen burn and up to now ( fingers crossed) no issues at all. It's not black and white, yes it's a bit of a gamble but my logic is if a problem is going to arise it probably will happen in the first few weeks. Not judging, just an opinion.
Thank you all for the help. Probably best to wait till Black Friday and judge it from there on what to get.

I have the b7 model ,i paid £1000,2 year ago and the tv is still going strong i use it as a htcp as well and its great, theres no screen burn of the windows desktop image, you just give it a wee wash now and again.Your ok for parts as they are all the same build for main parts inside, only main difference is processor and a couple of extras.I dont like to tell anybody to buy anything .But this is a bargain at this price. Also just get an insurance at £60 a year for it and your well sorted Only thing i would say if you can pick up abrand new b7 like mine for same price but with longer warranty buy that as im well chuffed to this day with mine and everything it plays is great, dosent matter the resolution it will get best for you
yet buyers pile in on Amazon gear with.....1 year warranty.

Not my current B9, but I've had banding issues and dead pixels on a number of B8s that had to be returned
