LG’s B9 combines 4K HDR cinema screen design with advanced AI to further enhance both picture and sound. Perfect Colour on Perfect Black ensures real-world colour and contrast, while Dolby Atmos sound unites with Dolby Vision HDR for a cinematic experience. Use LG’s award-winning webOS Smart platform to stream shows from such apps as Netflix*, and navigate with the intuitive Magic Remote. With this Thinq AI TV you can interact by voice, with the Google Assistant and Alexa built in. A streamlined alpine stand means its slim profile matches its spectacular visuals.

Impeccable 4K OLED Screen
Organic LED tech fuses with 4K resolution for superior contrast, colour and clarity. OLED pixels are self-lighting, meaning that they can switch on-and-off individually, for the deepest blacks and super-bright whites. Compared to regular LED screens, LG's panel adds an extra white sub-pixel, delivering ultra-fine gradation and a true-to-life colour palette.

4K Cinema HDR with Dolby Vision
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model's picture gets closer to real life. LG's 4K Cinema HDR supports multiple HDR formats including Dolby Vision, Advanced HDR by Technicolor and HDR10 Pro.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 55” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail.

Features:

Perfect Colour on Perfect Black: thanks to the OLED screen's self emitting pixels, colour representation is lifelike and wide-ranging, on a background of perfect blacks and rich detail, even in dark shades.

Alpha 7 Gen 2 Processor: The second generation intelligent processor is optimised for a premium OLED picture of exceptional clarity and brightness, whatever you’re watching.

Dolby Atmos Sound: immersive Dolby Atmos places sound within three dimensions for an enveloping soundscape, with you at the centre. Coupled with Dolby Vision HDR, it's a fully cinematic experience.

Thinq AI: bringing the intelligence and convenience of voice interaction to the living room, this Thinq AI TV can listen, think and respond to your questions.

4K High Frame Rate via HDMI: With full HDMI 2.1 compatibility, this LG TV can handle High Frame Rates for smoother motion, so even the most frantic sporting action is crisp and blur-free.

When you click Buy Now, under Proceed to Checkout, there's a Discount Codes drop-down. Click that to enter the code.

Is it 5 year warranty? Terms and conditions say 1 year. Couldn't see anything saying you get 5 year? Only that you can extend it in FAQ.

Ah, sorry to hear that. I'm sure there will be a similar deal on the horizon. Just set an alert for 'OLED' or similar (if you haven't already). If a deal under 1K doesn't come up before Christmas, then I'm sure you'll find one after Christmas. Hang in there, chief!

Cheers, I just had a look at other retailers and it seems the sets I have been watching have went up £200, must be getting ready for a sale with £200 off lol

Yep, I noticed that as well. I was thinking about biting the bullet today, until I checked the prices again. I'd prefer to buy from JL or RS, so I'm happy to wait it out. As you say, I'm sure they're setting themselves up for another sale price drop. Let's hope so

Fingers crossed, although I'm so tempted to take a look in Costco as their warranty is good and have a 90 day return....I like that as I had an issue with a seller before over a TV with dead pixels, manufacturer said it was within their tolerance, wan't within mine lol With Costco you just take it back, no hassle.

I might see if I have a Costco close to me. TV panel quality control is seriously rubbish these days, and the amount of "acceptable" light bleed/clouding, dead pixels, etc, becomes a subjective matter, and a battle between consumer and purchaser. You pay good money for technology, so you expect good quality out of the box. I bought a 43" from Amazon recently and it has a serious cloud blooming effect in the top corner. They're sending someone to assess it, but I bet they say it's within tolerance. However, it ruins the TV experience for me, as I'm always aware of it. Amazon are pretty good with returns as well, so I'll just send it back their way with a 'NOT ACCEPTABLE' sticker on the box

Thats exactly my point too and why I struggle with LCD screens, bloom, bleeding, clouding and waste the experience for me, I hope you get someone understanding but don't hold your breathe lol
It's also the reason why I would pick Costco as my preferred vendor as no issues returning within 90 days.

Thanks! I'm definitely not holding my breath on this. It's a shame as I do like the TV, apart from it having an IPS screen rather than a VA screen. You just don't know what panel you've got until you've set it up though, which is another annoying factor with buying TVs. It would be nice to have a choice of panel, depending on how your living room is arranged. I probably won't care so much once I've bought one of these OLEDs for upstairs. I see there's a Costco about 30 mins from me so I'll probably go down that route. Thanks for the tip.
