Probably better sound too. So if you’re not bothered about high end features (why get this tv in the first place though) and you use a soundbar, the B9 will suit you and your wallet/purse/non binary money receptical just fine.

erm the B9 has HDMI 2.1

Great price! Holding out for Richer Sounds to come down a little more myself. Hopefully we'll see this price with a 5/6 year warranty before or on Black Friday! If you can't wait and can live without the extended warranty, snap it up now!

Looks like Richersounds were listening to you as they have it for this price now...
What’s the difference between this and the C9
65 inch needs to come down now.
What do people think of the E9.? I have a B6 was thinking of upgrading for the hdmi 2.1 spec and Dolby Atmos via EARC

Comparing LG B9 against C9

So main difference is a9 vs a7 processor.

Just wondering if the difference in quality is something that is easily visible due to the better processor?

A lot of people seem to want the C9, but no one seems justify why this is. As I get the feeling one would be hard pressed to spot the difference between the quality of the image when sat back watching a movie.

I get a 10% discount from Amazon. Should I buy this? I'd rather get something with a warranty though.

He‘ll be along in a minute, but take a look at the YouTube channel Tech & Travel (big bald muscly bloke), he’s got the B9 and been given the C9 to test. His reaction to the C9 tells you straight away you can see the difference, but I don’t think you’d be bothered quite so much if you weren’t directly comparing the two. The B9 is still amazing picture quality in its own right and you’d be more than happy with it if you weren’t looking to see if the grass is greener on the C9 side.
I would go with the cheapest option the B9 over the C9 unless you have alot of spare cash. £400 is good chunk for a slightly better processor. If your moving up from an average LCD/ Plasma you will be blown away by any OLED. And it all comes down to what content you are watching and what your upgrading from.

So it does. I was sure that I’d read that was one of the differences. So there’s not much in it really, just better sound and processor.
B9 will not support gsync, C9 and E9 will if you are about that stuff.

HDR is slightly better but not game changing. £1299 is quite the bargain!

Do you know this for sure? Is it not the case that G-Sync will just come at a later date in a firmware update?
I think its the matter of peace of mind. They're not going to bother to certify the B9 models, so although it may work, its not guaranteed (can have flickering/ no support at certain fps/ blank out /colour problems).
