I can't see it dropping by much even on BF (end of November) 😁 if you want 100s off you'll have to wait for a refurb or a B10 release 😁

It was cheaper a few weeks ago at Currys using a voucher (£1399) but this is currently the best price I can find and if you got Richer Sounds to price match they'd knock £20 off and youd get a 6 year guarantee too
Thinking of getting one these. Is it worth spending the extra for a C9? Only difference worth mentioning is the processor from what I can see? Display and connectivity seems the same?
This is getting a NVIDIA Gsync software update shortly too.
Fyi Oled C9 55" in costco 1649£, does anyone know on black friday costco prices go further down ??

C9 and E9 models are confirmed but not B9. Different CPU on the B9. Fingers crossed though!
Probably be waiting for the B10 release. HDMI 2.1 capable console or GPUs aint available yet and Im hoping the next console/gpu release will coincide with the next model and maybe a price drop on the level of the current B8.

Hopefully sub £1000 in a years time.

Time to save up
Just pumped out on the c8 65”. Hope it lives up to its name when it arrives Friday. Beans on toast for a year or so now though.

Source?

Source for what? That some 2019 LGs are getting gsync or that the B9 is not? There's a couple of articles yesterday that mention that LG are rolling it out soon for the C9 and E9. And for this that don't know it's really just to make games look smoother. The B9 definitely had an inferior CPU just look at the official specs and reviews but let's be honest, for this price, you are getting one of the best TVs on the market today
..in fact it looks like the B9 will NOT get this "enhancement" for those that care about it or want it...

Not out of the box, but in theory the two TVs both support HDMI VRR so it might be possible to just enable it manually once the drivers have been released.... will have to see once the Nvidia Game Ready Driver is released and someone can test with a B9.
Think I would splash another £200 and get the C9 from Costco plus a 5 year warranty

I personally prefer the smaller footprint of the B9 stand but agree the C9 is a better TV but the price reflects it

Just looking for an article detailing the roll out. Curious as monitors require a proprietary module from nvidia, whereas freesync is more of an "open standard". Curious how they have worked around that.
Do LG OLED's actually get discounted at Black Friday? Don't remember seeing it last year.

They where £1400. I know this because I bought one from currys. All major retailers have it between £1300-1500 from black Friday

Basically, G-Sync Compatible is just Nvidia's implementation of FreeSync, no module needed - and now works over both DisplayPort and HDMI.
