I bought this TV at this price from RS during the black friday sales. I remain astounded by the quality of the picture every time I watch TV! Viewing angles are fantastic as well.

Any deals on the sony ag8 65 inch???

Cheapest at the moment is 1900 I think. I keep on checking, bought nearly 4 weeks ago from JL so hoping I can sneak a price match in before the 28 days
Where is it 1900

Leconcepts, don't know how good they are but might be able to use it as a price match from richer sounds
Costco had these on for 1600 in December...missed out

Does this have the 2.1 Dolby on it or the old standard?

Honestly, no idea, have it connected to soundbar and sub. I've good thing though is absolutely no lip sync issues with the soundbar like I had on the Samsung KS7000 it replaced
Wait a minute, 11 comments in and nobody has mentioned ‘it that shall not be named’. We need to get a few pages going about screen burn followed by an oled v Qled debate

Nice one .I picked the 1499 from Costco on Monday but it's gone back to 1599 so expect retailers who dropped prices to match will also move back to 1599. 90 days return without question was the deciding factor for me.
Be quick if you want the 65 for circa 1499.

Do we think this or the C9 is going to go down any more in April or May when the new models come out?

Thanks for the thought. If the C9 dropped to £100 over this price as it has been then I'd be all over it.
Great deal, heat added. Will anywhere match this? If not, how is PRC? Never dealt with.
Well, it seems to be 1k at C&M if that helps anyone. Of course, I've never dealt with them either. cramptonandmoore.co.uk/lg-…tml

I got a TV from crampton and Moore last July via their ebay store and they were spot on. Delivery timescale was as stated, they sent a text with a timeslot on the day and called when en route

They have just dropped the price of the AG8 by £100
This or the e8?
bottle12316/02/2020 10:49

This or the e8?

E8 has a brighter screen and better speakers and is styled better. B9 has HDMI 2.1 and better input latency, more up to date apps (apple TV only on 2019 models).

I'd say if gaming was important then I'd edge towards the B9 but for TV use probably the E8 (and even then, the input lag in the E8 is really good). But either way it'll be really marginal.

The only real wild card is whether the B9 with a newer panel has potentially better anti-burn in technology.
Had mine 2months now, was worried about watching football on it because of screen burn I was even changing channel every 15 mins at first when football on don't worry anymore, no burn here as long not leaving it on all day on same channel with logos can't see it having any burn issues.

If you use now TV for football the built in app is gives awful juddering stuttering problem was same on my old lg TV using a now TV stick that's outputs at 50hz fixed this. even a Roku stick was just as bad then the app as you can't set it to 50hz . So a now TV stick is a must for football sports etc

What Hz does sky sports through sky box run at please? Also, do you notice micro stutter watching films it standard TV? Want one but this appears to be the main worry for myself

I had the same dilemma and went with the E8 and it is magnificent. Picture wise the E8 is better with hd content and has a more high class finish with the screen on glass.... also the forward firing speakers on the E8 are better if wall mounting

I use a now TV box not sky box but I would thought a sky HD box would output at 50,Hz

I have no micro stuttering on TV via Freesat

Its a very good TV and IL been though many upgrades over the years once you go oled you won't go back normal led LCD

Blu rays , Netflix and Apple TV are fantastic on the oled

Just got an email from JL price matching.
Bought this from PRC last month. Amazing TV but beware of the following: TV arrived in a few days but after setting up I noticed a couple of clusters of dead pixels near the centre of the screen. PRC exchanged for a new set without fuss, but got me worried about how reliable these sets are. Also, PS4 (non-pro) looks awful on it in HDR on the standard settings. Needs quite a bit of tweaking with both console and TV settings to get it looking good.
Deals gone back up sadly
