This is LG's lowest-end model, with cut-down specs that affect image quality (though of course it'll still be a very nice-looking TV). Personally, I'd take any of Panasonic's 2019 lineup over any of LG's though. Panasonic's picture processing is second to none.
HDMI 2.1 x 4 Makes it worth the buy over Panasonic to me.

But it’ll be 1100 in a month.

Affect image quality in what way?
I have the OLED 65" B8 and it's an amazing TV and nothing low end about it? I've never seen such a crystal clear and amazing picture on screen including the xbox one X games.

Yeah that previous comment is rubbish the reality is the B8 (which I own) the only difference is the processor, and in the real world no one would see any difference, in fact id say more fool those willing to pay hundreds more for the tiniest of picture quality upgrade. bang for buck the B series is by far the best buy.
Check out Rtings ratings which cover differences between B9 and C9 in detail. Real world there’s minimal difference.

The 8’s are different to the 9’s. On the 8’s only difference between models was sound output - screens / processors etc were the same. The 9’s are different

am I thinking of the 7’s then? Am I getting old that quickly?

Yup, the 7's were the range with differing sound options.

Doesn't change the fact that, yes, the minimal processing difference isn't worth the difference in price on the newer
Also, the B8 55 is £989 with this code. Hot.
How is this deal not hotter? John Lewis deal is £100 higher and gaining heat
