Curry's currently doing 200 off marked price, seems like a good deal for this.

Also, possibly £70 TCB, although using the voucher is against the t&C's of cashback

2019 model for this price? Nice! And its the PLA model, which is adventitious! Have a little heat (even if I'm not buying today)!
Awesome price and 5 year warranty. Hot from me
I'm trying to predict the drops, historically first week of sept is a decent drop but I think this is probably the level it will drop to without the voucher code so I'm tempted!

Gonna buy one for the HDMI 2.1, but it’ll be 1000 before too long. It should last a five + years with that port, no need o upgrade until 8K is common. Have to wonder when TV will upgrade from 720p, I don’t watch it anymore partly because it looks so bad. Though if I’m honest it’s because TV has become far left, it’s like communism is on the rise.

I use the in-built Freesat on my C8 because I don't want any external boxes or cables, just a clean wall-mounted telly. 75% of the channels are SD, including C4! Luckily I don't watch much broadcast TV! Even 4K becoming terrestrial broadcast standard is a long, long, long way away.
Can anyone tell me what the latency is like for gaming?

I couldn't cope with sd freesat as I barely have time for 720p Nowtv. I think hd should be the standard for freesat
Pulled the trigger very happy with it

Curious about this. Always gone Sony. How are you finding it?
Previous one was a sony, the os on this is so much better

Cheers. Seriously tempted.
Struggling to find where does the discount code goes? Ideally for collection...😫

They do it in store for collection, delivery it's at checkout
Also, possibly 70 topcashback

Quidco offer 20% but they are vague with their offer, 'up to 20%' on a 'range' of TV. No way of knowing what TV's are in the 'range', nor if you are getting the full 20%
Looks like I'm buying this TV sooner than I thought, I just picked up mine and it cracked :/ Barely any force and it just cracked.... OMGGGGGG! Can only hope the Home insurance I never claim for will cover it.

I'd blame it on the Reds under the beds.
I bought a Sony 55AG8 oled yesterday from Currys (went in for the LG) the sales guy was obviously desperate to sell the Sony for some reason and even gave us a £50 printer foc! Got it home read the reviews then took it back and got the LG i went in for in the first place! Still got the printer free!
