Unfortunately I'm not a Costco member and me nearest one is about 70 miles away in Edinburgh, so 140 mile round trip and I don't fancy driving there to get the tv back myself and risk breaking it on the way back in the car. Assuming Edinburgh actually had stock which they probably wont.

Thanks for the heads up though.

I take it I would have to take it with me and they won't deliver it for me, even when paying extra? might give them a ring.

Phoned them, only have the B9 in stock, not the C9
A clearance offer or ex display
They had the 55 b9 at 950 at Costco online last Saturday but they didn’t last long enough to post the deal
Got one coming tomorrow for a family member

Edinburgh have around 5 left as of 5pm. If that helps anyone
as of 1pm today costco thurrock have 6 LG55C9PLA for £1200 in stock in store only
Had mine about a month now! overall fantastic tv if you are into films, gaming or watch decent 4k content. Personally Id say go LED if in a very bright room or right beside a window
Posted this in another Costco thread. Anyone had a similar experience to mine today? ......... wilburscoville9191:
I know everyone raves about Costco's customer service (I have also). However, I have a faulty coffee machine to return which I bought with cash at £359. They won't do an exchange but rather refund in cash then I have to buy a new one. Problem is it's now selling at £499. I was told that I then have to ask the manager to sell me the machine at the original loerr price, but it's not guaranteed they will do that, but as the purchase was made only 6months ago they expect the manager will do. Really was expecting a simple exchange.

Is it not under manufacturer warranty? Get it repaired that way.

I don't think Costco legally have to offer you a replacement for faulty goods, a refund suffices. Although it does seem strange they aren't offering a refund they are doing nothing wrong. Maybe try ringing customer services rather than in store?

Thanks. Yeah I think I'll ring them tomorrow to clarify. They are offering a refund but it's the exchange I want so I'm not having to pay the higher price by buying again. Not sure I want to go down the repair route as I'll be without hood coffee for potentially weeks. It has put me off buying a oled tv because if I buy at a really good price and it develops a fault, I won't be able to exchange for a replacement and you therefore lose the benefit of the good price.

When you ring them don't mention anything about already speaking to someone in store, just try start a fresh and say you want a replacement as one has broken. Complicates it a bit if you start explaining what's happened already.

There are pleanty of good stories about Costco warranties though - but if you worry about Costco still - get Richer Sounds to price match and they have their 6 year guarentee. I paid £989 for this TV in December and I definitely don't look back.

Mind me asking what the main differences were and what swayed your decision?
Found the 65 inch of this for £1424, going to see if richer sounds will price match it. Is that a decent price ? What’s the lowest the 65 has ever been?
