What's the difference? How much of a difference is an a9 processor compared to the a7
Not much cheaper than anyone else. Some of their "clearances" are a joke.

Sony KD-65XF9005 ex display £1399 £999 new everywhere else. They even have it at £1099 new. Who runs this store?

The B8 is 55 is only £999 on offer be user its 2 years old now. Even the w7 is still about £2k. Even the new 49in from LG will cost alot as its a new model.

Might get lucky with hisense but as they still buy panels from LG there is limited scope for movement on price.

It's gen 1 vs gen 2 processor. Only C9 E9 W9 E9 have the gen 2 processor. Gen3 is on CX and RX at ces 2020.

Gen2 is faster so can handle 120hz 4k, although lg reckon the gen 1 should work according to a recent post on their forums but no proof has been provided after they previously said it wouldn't work. So if you want to use it with next gen consoles I would get a c9

Yes, I’ve noticed that it doesn’t work like this (continual price drops) over the past 5 years anyway. They seem to reach a low point of about £1000 and then stay there until discontinued

Indeed. The B8 have been in clearance for a year so stock won't last.

There are some efficiencies with printing the panels soon which should help bring the price down this year.
Prices are only going to fall once they figure out how to make it more cheaply, so prices won’t stay like this.
It’s just like LED lcds years a go costing over 1k but now cost £200.

I read that too google.com/amp…led

From what I read online the new method isn't working out as well as hoped. Can't find the exact article but this mentions about scaling back production businesskorea.co.kr/new…505
