Why, can you explain please, BX looks better

Pretty much the same to be fair, I've got a b9, I've also installed a few of both and like most people couldn't see any noticeable difference
wanted to get this for my ps5. Looks like a great deal

Useless comment..

Can you prove that somehow...
Read RTings review. Mediocre HDR due to poor peak brightness B9 was much brighter. But excellent OLED for the price. I own a CX which I love BTW.
Just so people know this is the lower model of the CX series. Missing some of the 5LB features.
Such as AI sound pro & the alpha gen 3 processor.

This is the budget OLED and not as good as any previous versions

It has lower HDR peak brightness but the positive of that is it will increase the lifespan of the pixels as the higher the peak brightness shorter the lifespan of the pixels, which is there's automatic brightness control in OLEDs. Really only an issue for people who use it in very bright rooms. There's a lot of other bigger improvements such as Dolby Vision IQ, AI Brightness control, and a faster processor with better processing of shadow details and will get software support for longer so it's still a better TV.

It is but I've heard people say that AI Sound Pro is isn't a good feature and people tend to keep it off as it distorts the natural sound, so keeping it in default is better. Didn't get to test that feature yet

Hey guys I sit about 12ft from my TV as our living room is quite big, we have a 50inch HD TV at the moment, but hoping to upgrade on black Friday, am I better off going for a 55" cx lg oled, or a 65" Sony/Samsung led/qled? I know bigger the better due to the distance, its quite a dark room too. Any advice would be much appreciated! Usually watch movies/Netflix/will be hoping to watch 4k nature stuff too. Budget is £1-1.5k, don't really watch sports.

Personally would choose the OLED option if I was spending that much

55 cx all day long and maybe a nice sound bar or treat the missus to a nice meal

Yeah that's the ticket buddy

55cx
Thanks guys, if the 65" cx comes down sub 1.5k it would be amazing, don't think it's going to happen though!

As nice as that would be I wouldn't hold my breath for that price. You could get the 55 inch CX for around £1250ish I reckon on black Friday.
Hoping this goes sub £1000 soon, like the B9 did last year. Think this is the cheapest TV out there that has everything you need to fully support all the next gen console features (at least until Sony add support for VRR and ALLM).

I'm hoping it'll be slightly better than that, I've seen it around 1.3k already! 1k and I'm pressing the buy button! But we'll see heheh.

CX will not be £1000 lol. Perhaps the BX.
I got the CX for £1249 and that was with Richer Sounds against Costco. I would be surprised if it got below £1200 at black Friday. Maybe next year when the C11 is announced but they won't reduce it that much otherwise they would kill the sales of the BX unless that was reduced to something like £800 which I can't see happening.
What are the earphones like, decent ?
