it's max £100 discount
You can get a b7 for £1200 from crampton and Moore's eBay shop with the 11% off using the Australia trick.

Problem is not sure if they will offer a 5 year guarantee like they do using their own website.

Encouraging fraud? Obtaining goods by deception!?

Not worth the possible consequences to save a few ££ in my opinion.

Each to their own i suppose
Currys just told me their eBay items are not new hahaha idiots

They are new if it says on receipt. That idiot wants you to buy from store to get commission. These days only ones who buy from store are those with money no object as it is much cheaper to buy online plus you are safeguarded by distance selling regulatons.

wow aren't we up ourselves.
It said 10% which was taken as, well, 10%. Dodgy at best then.

Would be a good deal if Richer Sounds weren't doing it at the same price (using £100 off code) with a 6 year warranty
£1329 from Currys own website with 5 Year Warranty.
Plus that 1/20 offer (for whatever it is worth)
6% QUIDCO On LG TVs as well.

This eBay Currys outlet only offers 1 year according to the listing.

Sorry, cold for me.

It's available from better retailers for same price with 6 yrs, good credit scheme, or elsewhere even cheaper without so cold.

I don't know what some people's obsession is with 'curries' around here.. Shop around and save money or get a better guarantee for the same money. There are no advantages in buying from the curries 'brand', ime/ imo it's awful there are far better, and more knowledgable, retailers with attentive service, less hassle, and better details. Would rather promote their business than pay extra for 'curries'

Remember, it's only a discount because the price was artificially high in the first place. That's how curries make their money; because the majority walking down the high street don't know the difference.

I am not buying from Currys, but many get gift cards through employers which can give upto 10% off on the purchase. I have an option to get JL gift cards, so using that which makes this TV around £1150 for me would be same if I use Currys. But with Richer sounds, I will have to buy for the advertised price.
Plus I thought the C7 was only available from Curry's?

What is this Australia trick you speak of

What is this Australia trick you speak of

Code expired, was only valid for 12 hours.

Had to change your registered country, address to an Australian one and visit the .com.au version of the item you wanted. Input code PTAOZB and you would get 11% off.

I could of and should of gone for the B7 that I could have had for £1200 from C&M on their eBay shop using that trick.
Lot of bad information on this thread, bizarrely from the people 'shouting the loudest'

The C7, which many seem to prefer because of the nicer pedestal and lack of reflective silver trim,
is only available from Currys (Richer Sounds occasionally have some unadvertised stock)

The B7 is available from most other retailers.

Beware when attempting price matches.

EDIT: Both TV panels are identical

Yep. It’s been edited since.
Either way, the better deal is via their own website rather than eBay.
It’ll be £800 this time next year. Prices dropping fast so it’s only going to get cheaper

On eBay it's £1,299 and on their site it's £1,329 so surely eBay is better?

Best place to watch it is the village pub or on a projector with a bbq In the background or with a few pals at home on a 75”. 55” is great but some of us are never happy with a small one!

I bought a new 40" in December and was so excited. When it came, it was tiny! Great screen but bit too small. I'm hoping the 55" will look better.

I can't see a B6 for £800?
Lots of deals for this TV, so I went to check it out at the weekend.

Took uncompressed blu ray rip of The Dark Knight and was massively disappointed with motion handling and overall quality of the picture. It was far worse than my 2013 Sony W905 (LCD) and my 2018 Sony XD8088 (LCD). Could not get a picture that I was even remotely happy with and could not justify parting with £1300 and a step backwards.

Out of interest, I played the same sequence in the Sony AF8 (£2500!!!!) and it was simply amazing. Clearly the panel is capable of producing a good image.

I'll be sticking with my current TV's for a bit longer yet.
