Great find OP! How does this tv compare to the OLED55B7V? Also why is the OLED55E7N so much more expensive??
The only differences between the B7 and C7 are cosmetic, a different stand mainly. The E7 has an integrated Dolby Atmos soundbar and twin tuner/freesat inputs. The panels (and picture quality) are identical across all three models.
I have the B7, that and the C7 been that price since December

No they haven't. They have been that price in December, but certainly not all the way from that point til now. £1599 has been the cheapest for about 70% of the time
I'd say it's worth waiting now for the inevitable price drop when these new models land.
Excellent TV. Paid £1280 at Xmas at Curry's for it. Picture is wow

The C7 and B7 are the same TV, just with a different stand/silver bezel and the C7 has slightly better speakers.
The E7N is again the same TV just with a soundbar attached to the bottom.
All of the 2017 line from LG are basically the same TV (they all have the same panels) they will look the same. The only differences are design choices/fanciness.

Its more likely they will just sell out due to no stock as even at £1499 these things sell.
There would be no reason to reduce price lower if they are still selling.

The E7 has an integrated Dolby Atmos soundbar, twin dvb-T tuner, twin DVB-S tuner, premium remote.
I just picked up the 55c7v from richer sounds last week on clearance for £1350, it was up for £1499 and got an email for RS vip members which had a 10% off all clearance items in store and online voucher so they reluctantly sold it, I’m over the moon as really wanted one at that price with the 6 year guarantee. I had tried a couple of days earlier to get them to sell it to me for £1350 as I was buying a soundbar at the time and I said they’ve gone for that before on Black Friday etc but they said that LG helped with those sales/deals and that they won’t ever go back down to those prices on general sale. Who knows though!
Finally pulled trigger on it ( after weeks of researching and going back and forth between models and sizes ). Added XBX ( code for 100 off XBOX100 ) , free 5 y warranty ( also Curry's offers 18m interest free ). TopCashback pays 70 pounds on TV's above 1K.

Don’t think there’s any difference between the B and C’s speakers is there ?

Also worth checking if your workplace has a 'perks' offering, PC World / currys and John Lewis all have 7% off if buying a re-loadable gift card, another £105 in your pocket
Went for a look this morning. Still not sure which I prefer out of the B7 and C7.
I'm hoping to be able to get this for £1330, buying a Currys gift card for the value of £1499 (costs £1401 via Defence Discount Service), then use the card to order online via Topcashback for a further £70 off.

Don't think topcashback works with those vouchers... My work has them as well.

Yep got retention already on the B7 and I only Game a moderate amount, roughly 13-14 hours a day. Lol

None yet just done use any game with heavy HUD’s , which I mean HUD’s that have strong images. Best to have HUD’s that are adjustable so they are transparent or dynamic . You are normally ok for a few hours play with a strong hud but set the tv up correctly. Turn oled light down as you don’t need it set to 100. Other than that gaming is amazing on this e.g the last of us and zero Dawn is breath taking.

13 to 14 hours is not moderate but you will get retention if you play a lot of games that has strong HUD’s
Anyone know what the build quality is like on one of these? Thanks
Nice price. I paid £1800 in october and am loving all the content in Dolby vision from Netflix and itunes. which the guys from Currys said wasn't much (lies) and I should go with hdr+ more expensive tv

On the DDS site it says "Gift Cards are only available to use on in store purchases. E-vouchers are not available for this company at this time" Will be interested to hear how you get on.

To be honest Dolby vision isn’t always the best but some stuff is amazing e.g altered carbon . Even so hdr 10 on this set is amazing too and HLG . Half the times the guys from currys don’t know much only a hand full actually have knowledge.

C7, B7 - screen glued to a sheet of aluminium. E7 - screen glued to a pane of glass.

Hmm. For some reason once again in 2 minds and looking at q8f as alternative. I know it wont be as wow as an oled but will be better than my non hdr 4k for gaming

Dolby vison is the main reason I bought this tv. I was so happy to see altered carbon, stranger things s2 and any recent marvel tv series on this. Plus not forgetting the expanding Dolby vision content on itunes. Yeah hdr and HLG are nice but I do believe it's nicer to have the extra layer of detail on top
£1500 for a tele, will i regret it?
