Premium OLED screen

OLED creates true blacks for deeper, richer pictures than standard LED TVs. The LG OLED55C7V 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR OLED TV can turn each pixel off, so no light passes through them – the result is incredible contrast for tones and colours that sing.

Every pixel renders every colour with stunning accuracy. Experience astonishingly realistic picture quality that adds new excitement to your content. Even fast-paced content like sports, games and action movies looks smooth and stunning – the screen responds over 1000 times faster than LED pixels, eliminating blur for fluid, thrilling entertainment.

4K resolution with Multi HDR

Even up close, 4K Ultra HD delivers outstanding images popping with detail. Footage shot in 4K makes you feel like you're there, and 4K games burst with exhilarating clarity.

Multi HDR means watching the LG OLED 55C7V TV feels closer to real life. Colour and contrast are closer to what your eye sees, and support for HDR 10, HLG, Dolby Vision and Technicolor HDR creates the right feel for streamed content, 4K games and movies.

Dolby Atmos

Hear premium Hollywood-style sound at home. Dolby Atmos creates a huge 3D sound field where each sound is precision-oriented and moved so that it feels like it's around, in front of and even above you. Feel like you're at the movies with powerful, realistic sound delivered from a 40 W 2.2 channel speaker system.

Beautiful metal stand

Crafted from a seamless metal sheet with anodised black edging, the LG OLED-55C7V TV is ultra-slim with a beautiful, faultless finish. Mounted on its minimalist Alpine metal stand, it creates a striking centrepiece for your living room. See more screen than frame for true immersion.

Smart TV with Freeview Play

Smart TV webOS opens up a huge range of content - discover movies, sports and shows on the LG 55" 4K HDR OLED TV. The Magic Remote lets you speak to navigate and access what you want to watch. Download apps to stream content from services like Netflix and Amazon, and configure the home screen to have your favourites in one place.

Catch up with Freeview Play, letting you scroll back through shows you've missed over the past seven days from BBC iPlayer, All 4, My5 and ITV Hub – all subscription-free.

Don't forget your HDMI cables

Check out our range of HDMI cables to connect your input devices and to make sure your new TV has a perfect picture with improved transfer speeds. Look out for the Sandstrom Silver Series HDMI cables with their lifetime warranty.

What a deal , they have just reduced it back to the price it was before and during BF ... not even got the extra 10% off... no deal here.
I’m sure this wasn’t £2,000
Shame the 10% off code from a few weeks ago doesn't work. That would have made it £1350....hotukdeals.com/dea…919

Still a cracking price for a quality tv
I'm pretty sure Richer Sounds will price match and give 6 years warranty.
Far less likely to quibble if something goes wrong within 6 years and they give better customer service than PC World.
Also beware: OLED are more like likely to suffer burn-in than LED sets, so do your homework at AVForums.com before buying and read reviews on the model.

Pps: Also TV hardware typically is drastically reduced again in June when the manufacturers announce and debut their latest (2018) range and all the retailers will discount last year's stock. I suspect this will be close to or under a grand in June.

Voted lukewarm.

It wasn't. It's been hovering around £1499 for quite a while. It's a sales tactic to make consumers think they are getting a bargain.

True.
What's the difference between the B and C aside from the stand ?

What's the difference between the B and C aside from the stand ?

Dark bezel on c7 silver on b7.
Much nicer styling on this model when compared to the B. Why anyone would want a bright, reflective bezel is beyond me.

Still trying to decide between this or the XE9005......

That's it ? And that costs you another £150, wow!
Richer Sounds does do the C7 model with the black bezel but only in store or on phone sales. However I am STILL waiting for my 55 c7 ordered in Cambridge Richer Sounds for £1350 on November 20th to be delivered. So if you do go Richer Sounds check they actually have stock of that model not just a vague promise. They say each store orders directly from manufacturer and even though I was told 20 would be coming on 18th it doesn't seem to have filtered to the store yet. Good customer service means nothing if I don't have the TV. I am hoping that it will go below £1350 on boxing day so at least I will have gained something waiting but I don't think that is likely. I already lost £20 on the Denon 2400 amp I got at the same time. When I asked for a refund of the difference saying I may as well waited until the TV arrived I got a disinterested no as it wasn't within 7 days.
No, they are normally the same price.
£70 topcashback until tomorrow
Can you wall mount these
amoulden7 h, 35 m ago

No they don't

Yes they do. Richer Sounds sell the C7, i telephoned them today to confirm it.

To people saying RS will price match...... the TV is £1499 in RS so it's the same price, no need for any price matching. You get 6 year warranty so no point buying it from PC World/Currys

B looks like a pair of boobies from above, and C looks like a bulls nose ring.

I’ve tried both the B and the C 65” versions. I initially bought the B and used it for a week. It was stunning but had a faulty optical connector. Currys offered a swap out with the C (no stock of B) so went for it.

Overall the two look very similar however the black frame around the C makes the bezel seem wider than the B when in use. The B feels more or less bezel-free and I preferred it to the C overall because of this, however It’s so marginal I stuck with the C.

Both are amazing TVs. If in doubt take the plunge!
Finally picked one up yesterday. Amazing TV. Great smart features and apps. Sound is awesome. Thanks op. Held out as long as we could for a discount but we don't regret buying now, even at this price.

Richer Sound stock the C7 Model. I got my 65C7 from them. They're just not allowed to list it online.
Got mine delivered today. Great TV!!
£70 topcashback. 8% extra off thanks to a works reward program. Check if your employer does one, lots do. I work for Royal Mail, my friend works for Vue Cinemas, we both have the same deal. You have to buy gift vouchers. Extra faff on, but 8% of £1500 is £120. So for me:

£1500 Sale price
-£120 (gift voucher purchase of £1500 cost £1380 via Royal Mail with the 8% discount)
-£70 Topcashback (Has already tracked!)
£1310 final cost to me

Great if you are lucky enough to have an employer that has a deals for employees scheme. Have a look before you buy.
If you can watch the new Ghostbusters movie in 4k hdr on it. Movie sucks but effects are amazing
