They won't price match without an extended warranty.
No warranty no party

I think it depends how they feel on the day.
What's "amazon contrast"?

The difference between watching Lovejoy Series 1 on UK Gold and subsequently on Amazon Prime.

Quite a niche feature.
Good price but would much rather pay £100 more and get a 5 year warranty from John Lewis.
I just went and had a look at these in Currys. I was very impressed by what I saw. I think I'll be having a drive out toi Richer sounds soon to pick one up.

Had mine for about 6 months now. Still blows me away sometimes and no problems whatsoever so far. I think screen burn is a very real issue with them if you don't look after them well so make sure if you get one that you keep an eye on how others in your house are using the screen, and run the pixel refresher every now and then.

Yeah, misses often pauses the screen with Sky and Im worried it'll end up with that logo at the bottom one of these days
Am I missing something here - you can get the B7 for £1299 from a few places at the moment, with a better warrant.

Is the C7 really that much better?
Same panel just a different stand

Let the TV automatically run it’s pixel refresh software: I think it’s every 4 hrs and a major one every 1500 or so: running the later more frequently can damage the panel for good and won’t prevent screenburn

Just get the B7 people, John Lewis will price match PRC direct for £1,299 with the code.
5 year vg warranty and 30 day after sales price match in case it goes down further
i did this on Saturday, TV is trulyamazing
Can anybody help me out please. I do not have a source of 4k and probably will never get Sky. I do have an Xbox one X though which would look good on a B7orC7. Do these two oled TVs upscale your SD or HD programs like some of the Samsung TVs or will I be left with a poor picture due to no 4k TV. Don't think it would be worth a purchase if it's only going to look good with an Xbox.
Prcdirect are selling the b7v version (higher rated on which) for £1399 less £100 with june100 and a five year warranty. Just sayin

I have the C7 and it does not upscale sd to 4k as far as i have seen .. the freeview hd channels are crisp and xbox one x is awesome on the c7 .. i have not tried any 4k dvd/video either

Have you consider to ask her to move out?
Wasn't this £1299 a few days ago at Curry's? There was a deal here.

HD is upscaled to 4K;I don’t think any TV upscales SD to the extent that it will improve the image: it’s just like trying to magnify a low resolution photo and expecting it will look better. Freeview HD will produce stunning images for the most part on either OLED

Thanks for reply. There are a lot of SD channels on freeview and freestat. Are these still of a decent quality to watch on oled as I thought I read somewhere they are nearly unwatchable. Nice to get the info from someone who has one. I am definitely interested in one but slightly unsure.

I have no issue watching SD channels on mine even the really poor quality ones - the upscaler does a pretty decent job considering

If you talking about the C7 then I believe RS have sold all their stock of the 55" so I would speak to them first

Thanks for info. I presume you are watching on an oled then?

Yes I have the B7 although I use a Humax Freesat box rather then the built in tuner.
These lg tv's need to drop in price like all the others, even being oled the manufacturing costs have dropped dramatically and they are popular, maybe when they drop they will start selling a lot more before Samsung releases there micro led tv which is predicted to have super luminosity and brightness and an even better picture than the OLED. and no burn-in which is a problem with OLED tv's .
