Phoned the store, straight away they knew the deal they had to beat and they did by £20
6 year guarantee from Ritcher Sounds as well
Re the guarantee: my old LG broke down and was replaced within a week or so of it being considered beyond economical repair. The tv was around 18 months old when it broke down. However my guarantee was with company called domestic and general: these guys replaced the telly and bought it through Hughes....then the bad news: apparently my 5 year guarantee was now void and I only have a one year guarantee on the telly now which expires in a month. For future reference I’m going to check the terms and conditions of these so called 5/6 year guarantees/warranties.
i had a C6, got screen burn-in after 8 months (even though i was aware of burn-in and was being careful) and had to get the screen replaced, when i sold it with the new screen it was worth at least £500 less than what i payed
OLED panels degrade over time, with the C6 it was the red pixles that started to go first
i have a LED pannel again now and i no longer have to worry about how long a static image has been on the screen for

I have the B7 and it’s perfect after a year of use. This is with leaving things on it. They improved the problems with burn in a lot with the 7 series so imagine how much better the 9 is. Personally I’d go for it again, nothing beats an OLED until we get micro LED.
Can someone who has the C8 please measure the stand size for me??

Much apperciated.
